A prestigious 4 Star Superior Rating Hotel built on the lines of the typical Mediterranean architecture, positioned on the rocky mountain dominating the town of Sorrento and the enchanting Gulf of Naples. A striking and imposing hall, wonderfully designed into the rock cavern ambience, is connected with the fifth floor of the Hotel, thanks to two fast elevators. Guests will be welcomed by a selected and highly professional staff.

We enjoyed this hotel a lot. We picked it by looking on Trip Advisor and it turned out to be the end of the season- at the end of October. We did not realize it closed from Nov 1 through March or so. The staff...More
The hotel is charming and in a beautiful location. But the staff was not as helpful and friendly as we had experienced in other hotels in Italy. My husband and I stayed in high-end hotels in Bologna, Florence and Rome in addition to this one...More

Pompeii is easily accessible by train from the station which is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel - but beware of pickpockets on the train, we were robbed!!! There are boats from the harbour (again a 10 minute walk from the hotel) which take you to Capri - a great day out. Then another boat trip takes in Positano and the Amalfi coast - not cheap trips but well worth it. There is a little shop just a you start going down the main street when walking from the hotel on the right which books trips - they were very helpful. For the Amalfi coast ,Positano and Capri we were collect by coach from the hotel and taken to another little harbour, not the main Sorrento harbour. Hope this helps.
