This is the worth hotel we have ever been to. Dirty, all is broken or not working, hostile hospitality, ants all over the bathroom, AC not working, no water for many hours, avoid coming here as much as you can.
Key Points: There is one plug in each room. All the rooms are completely different sizes. The staff are very rude. They have no interest at all in customer service, i was even called names in Italian by the manager.

Hotel was exactly as described, a step back in time to the grandeur of the 1940's styling and the surroundings were out of this world, the swimming pool setting was superb and the jetty further below allowed you to sunbathe and swim straight into the...More

Gorgeous property, terrace beautiful, setting fabulous, staff nice but room was awful. it is a shame that this once gorgeous place let the rooms go to ruins. Furniture was old and chipped so painted chipped areas another color. Mattress was terrible. Sheets not always changed...More
Such a beautiful hotel in such a beautiful location but at some point they lost the love. Our room was very tired and run down, tiles in the bedroom floor were loose, towel didn't flush unless you pushed the button 6 times and you got...More

The train to Pompeii scavi stops just outside the site . Train is 4.5 euro but I think if you get a day trip ticket from the tabbaci shop next door to the station you can use the train and bus all day ,if your that brave. Take the express if possible and look at the time table for the return trip before you go into the ruins. The Capri ferry is 38 euro and the que is horrendous at the ticket office. If you want to see Postiano catch a bus in the morn before the traffic gets bad then get the ferry back. Ferry is cheaper to Postiano.

We have just returned from two weeks at this hotel. We would not stay there again due to the noise, quality of the food and standard of the room. The location is perfect and the views are some of the best. The half board evening meals were so poor and consequently we ate out virtually every night, which massively added to the cost of the holiday. I would recommend staying here bed and breakfast and eating out.
