Hotel Michaelangelo in Sorrento is a short walk to almost everything you need to visit to get a great feel for what Sorrento is all about. Here's what i liked: Proximity- everything was close walk- Train Station, Restaurants, Shopping, City Center Rooms were built for couples and families... Rooms were plenty big and well appointed for the traveller that is...

Centrally located and charming. The staff was friendly, helpful and spoke English perfectly. Breakfast buffet was tasty and the room was clean with a nice patio. The bar is small but the adjoining lounge area is large with free WiFi. I highly recommend.

This is one on the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. From the very friendly, helpful welcome to the clean rooms, spotless private and community areas. The food is very nice for a half board basis, the waiters in the restaurant are professionally efficient but have a smile and a joke. The bar area was lively, with many different...

While it's not entirely this hotel's fault, (the whole 3 day excursion was poor) I don't understand how they consider themselves a 4 star hotel. The rooms were extremely small, the walls were so thin I could hear in detail my neighbor's bathroom sounds, the shower was tiny & had so much gunk caked on it that only 10 or...

I spent 5 nights at this hotel while on a tour with a group. I found it to be a charming hotel that was in a good location. The staff however left much to be desired. The front desk personnel was very rude and dismissive. The bar tender, though through no fault of his own was almost never present as...

Our tour group City Discovery switched hotels and put us here for two nights. Check in was average, the gentlemen stayed on the phone and just made us wait. We checked into our room which opened to train tracks with noisy trains! Room is tired, old, dark and dusty. We asked to change to a quieter room and even offered...

We were disappointed with our room, overlooked the railway tracks, was twin beds pushed together when we had booked a double room, shower was tiny and poor flow, pillows were like biscuits and beds were hard. Also breakfast left us unimpressed, out of three mornings we went only on the first day, bread was stale, fruit was tinned and service...

Easy access from train station, which made our pompeii trip easy. Supermarket, pharmacy, laundrette are close by. My husband and daughter caught a nasty stomach virus and the staff were very kind. Several sets of sheets, extra pillows, 10 clean towels and a cleaner who needs a bonus for cleaning our room. Thank you for helping us so generously. Free...

Our travel group was at this hotel November 22, 2016. The pool was closed. There was smoking inside the rooms and the staff was indifferent to this. The American style breakfast buffet was good. The rooms were reasonably clean and spacious. The train runs from 6am to 10pm, so if you plan to sleep outside those hours, GOOD LUCK!

After reading some reviews of this place we were a little apprehensive.. but this hotel was lovely! Our room was spacious, quiet and had a lovely good size bathroom with a balcony. The bed was comfy and we got a great night sleep here. The restaurant was great and we enjoyed our meals here. For the breakfast my husband completely...
