After reading some negative reviews on TripAdvisor, we were admittedly wary going to this hotel. Imagine our delight in spending six most enjoyable nights at the Michelangelo! From the front desk to the wait staff in the dining room and the cameriera for our room, we were treated most cordially and efficiently. Our room 601, was clean and roomy, the...

We stayed here mid-October for two nights while on a tour. What a lovely, clean hotel. Our room was on the 4th floor and overlooked the pool and had a nice balcony. The room was spacious and most of all clean and comfortable. I hate going to a room and feeling it is dirty and I can't touch anything without...

We chose this hotel because of its central location in Sorrento and it was only a short walk to the Piazza Tasso in the centre of the town where most of the bars and some of the restaurants are located. The hotel is modern and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. However, it was obvious that the hotel specialised...

This hotel does not look big from the front elevation, but it goes back a reasonable distance. We were lucky in that we had a room, with a balcony (which I was really pleased to have for a change) overlooking the small swimming pool. Others had rooms overlooking the train station which they found somewhat less pleasing. The train were...

I had a really terrific time staying at the Michelangelo Hotel. The hotel is very modern, very clean, and the service is very professional. Excellent breakfast (I stayed as part of a tour) and very friendly staff. You are on the main road, and you can walk to a bunch of nice shops and restaurants. Don't forget to check out...

We just returned from a 7 night stay at the Hotel Michelangelo in Sorrento. Overall very nice accommodations, we had room 602 which overlooked the pool area. The room was very clean, housekeeping did a fantastic job. The hotel is in a great location and within walking distance of many nice restaurants and the main shopping area. The bar was...

Very good hotel, and close to center of town & shopping areas.. Rooms are smallish but clean & tidy. Elevators are spacious & fast. Dinning room is large with good service. Breakfast was not very generous, dinners were good. Front reception were good & respectful to our needs.

Where do you start with this accommodation. We felt we were in the TVseries Fawlty Towers. There was a Manual and a very snotty reception man who didn't give you the time of day. Be careful with your passports here, they kept ours for a couple of hours and would not give them back..others had to wait the next day...

I should have known it wasn't going to be a good experience when the receptionist did his best to look down his nose at us and make things very inconvenient when checking in. The best visual part of the hotel is the seating outside and they've been very clever with the photos. Mostly, it's dated beige and orange throughout. Age...
