Our room is a junior suite, the most expensive room in the hotel, just above the sliding door of the supermarket below. The door opens and closes with a huge noise every second from morning to night. an excellent tool of torture from the Middle Ages. it is more annoying than torturers dripping water on your bald head. Of course the boss promises everything but does nothing. we’ve been here for the! second day, but we’d have to spend three more nights here. I think this torture chamber is the worst hotel of my life. Don't come here!

Dear Klementzj, we are truly sorry to read your words. The room that has been assigned to you is a Junior Suite with a balcony overlooking Corso Italia, one of the most beautiful rooms of the Sorrento City Hotel. The noise you heard was caused by a breakdown in the doors of the nearby supermarket, and as soon as we received your report, we asked the supermarket to lock the doors. We offering you a room change, a discount on the total rate and we have been at your complete disposal for anything and to apologize, we also offered you some homemade limoncello. I feel compelled to reply at this such strong words, that are indifferent for me, given the amount of positive reviews and photos from our customers. I reply with these few lines and instead I thank the other customers, who today made me start a day of work, regenerating me with two welcome reviews.

Instead of staying at the Hotel we had the option to rent a fabulous 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment about 1/2 mile from the Hotel. The apartment was located in a very quiet neighborhood. The apartment was clean, cozy and had all the amenities you could want. It even includes a washing machine with a drying rack! There is a private balcony with.a fabulous view of the sea, we spent most of our time on the balcony from breakfast in the morning to wine in the evening. The balcony is wrap around an offereds sun and shade a like. There are two separate closets which offer a lot of room for unpacking so you don't have to live out of a suitcase. The kitchen has a full size stove, oven and refrigerator. It's conveniently located to bars, restaurants and a grocery store. It is within walking distance to everything you could want to explore while in Sorrento. Roberta, our host, was very friendly and accommodated all our needs. I will return to Sorrento and stay here again. I highly recommend this apartment for anyone visiting Sorrento, it made our vacation that much more enjoyable. Thank you Roberta for such a memorable stay, I look forward to seeing you again! Dr. Christine Bellomo

Had a very enjoyable stay here for a week in June with a friend in a twin room fronting the street. The room was indeed very small and access to the clothes storage was directly alongside one bed, so a rota was needed to get to our clothes! The centre of Sorrento is mainly closed to traffic and Corso Italia is a busy artery so there is noise if the balcony window is open. But as it was so hot we mainly had that closed and the aircon on. The tiny balcony is a great place to watch the bustle of street activity. Despite all this, the beds were comfy, the bathroom quite adequate and the room facilities absolutely fine. We were only in it to sleep so not a problem. Breakfast is a typical selection of hot and cold options including a huge range of delectable cakes. The staff at reception were always friendly and helpful, and stored our luggage for most of our last day. The roof terrace wasn’t in use during our visit. The best part about this hotel is it’s location. A short walk from the railway and bus station and also from the main square where you access all the gorgeous side streets and the route to the sea. Overall, a great spot from which to explore the joys of the Amalfi coast and the treasures surrounding Vesuvius. We went everywhere by train or boat - we found the buses a bit terrifying 😏 N.B. Actually travelled in June 2019 but forgot to post and now can’t select an earlier date.

Clean and great location! We had another hotel that had some problems like poor bedding and ants. Got this for our last of 3 nights and so happy we did. Small but comfortable and really nice roomy bathroom. Slept great. Close to center of old town to enjoy first of Christmas decorations and festivities.
