It's clean, it's friendly, it's central and it's reasonably cheap. Yes, as other people have said, there are lots of ways they could improve the place. Most of those would involve an increase in commitment from the people who own/run it and, quite honestly, it appears they are happy with the status quo as it is. Zia Maria is located...

Stayed in a triple (room 6) recently. Very nice B&B on the fifth floor. The lift takes getting used to but is OK. We found it easy to find opposite the church. Everything is literally right outside the courtyard, restaurants, bars, churches and shopping etc. This is the heart of the old town so it can get noisy at night....

We spent three memorable days in this beautiful oasis in the epicenter of Naples. Roberta's hospitality was incredibly nice and genuine - one feels immediately welcome and at home. We travel a lot, almost on a weekly basis, around Europe and beyond. A place like Zia Maria's is a rare gem and next time in Naples, this will be our...

ated on the fifth floor, yes there's a lift, our room here was a calming space in this fabulously boisterous part of town. However we had some problems. 1. VERY difficult to find 2. Payment in cash only 3. Breakfast served 9 to 10 and no allowance if that doesn't suit. Not even a yoghurt to have before departing to...

An oasis of calm and chic amid the chaos and bustle of Naples Old Town. Just above a wonderful piazza, and surrounded by the tremendously atmospheric alleyways that are bursting with cafes and restaurants. Our room had lovely views of the piazza, Vesuvius and the port, and it was a wonderful place to escape to after the hectic bustle of...

Magnificent place to stay in the Centro Storico. The rooms are clean and full of character. Tonia and Roberto are extremely gracious hosts. The location could not be better. We were here for three nights in August and were extremely sorry to leave. Would not think of staying anywhere esle in Naples. Terrace view is enchanting.

Stayed here for three nights on a recent trip to Naples and really enjoyed the experience. Tucked away in the old town, it's an oasis of calm in an otherwise hectic city. Enjoy a relaxing breakfast on the rooftop terrace before plunging into city sightseeing or a trip to Pompeii. Also close to subterranean tour of Napoli. Only real hassle...

Kirsten & Mona A very nice and personally run B&B in the heart of Naples - where everything is "vicino" and the pulse of the city is truly felt! PLUS: a beautiful terrace with the Vesuv in view and a "heart of the house" = Roberta not only bakes wonderful Italian cakes, but truly cares about every request of every...

Zia Maria is an amazing place to stay in Napoli. It's location is excellent, as it is close to the historical part of the City, not very far away from metro stations, and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes that become very lively in the night and early morning. The B&B is beautiful. It has a sense of freshness,...

We stayed here 7 nights and couldn't be happier with our choice. The location is literally on top Of the historic city center, with the original Greek agora and Roman forum under the church across the piazza. There are many 4 star attractions within sight as well as shopping and dining. The people are fantastic, very welcoming and helpful. Our...
