This is a hidden gem. Simple, out-dated furnishings, but you are here for the view not the quality of the dresser! You can't beat the uninterrupted view of My. Vesuvius over the Bay. It is isolated, well away from the center of Napoli activity. That is a plus and a minus. Add 10 Euro for the extra cab fare in...

I have written about Transatlantico before, and I must do it again. If you are fond of a maritime environment and a very nice surrounding for your hotel, where you not only can sleep, but walk around amongst very nice bars and seafood restaurants at the foot of a very old castle, then you should consider Transatlantico for your next...

Very nice hotel in a beautiful location by the castle. Room was clean & tastefully decorated, with a fabulous view. Internet was fine. The breakfast, although small in selection was very good - especially the coffee. This was taken outside in an exquisite position on the bay with the bobbing boats & Vesuvius in the distance....

This hotel is on a small islet. We booked a junior suite and received a very warm welcome when we arrived. The suite was excellent, very efficient air-con, a nice ensuite and amazing views. It was great having boats right outside the window and we enjoyed watching them come and go during our stay. The breakfast is very basic, but...

If you want to stay in a great suite with an incredible view at the harbour and Mount Vesuvius, in house with one of the best restaurants of this area and enjoy a wonderful breakfast outside, right at the sailing boats, then you should try to book at the Transatlantico. Remember to do so well in advance, and go for...

We had a fabulous room overlooking the Marina, adequately spacious, good facilities, and very comfortable bed. The breakfast and food were superb. Really an ideal location away from the hustle and bustle of Naples, very good restaurants close by, and great walking areas. When the restaurant is open , done expect an early night, as the music and the locals...

I was surprised to find a reasonably priced small hotel right on the waterfront. I arrived before check-in time and the staff stored my luggage and delivered it to my room while I went off to see the city. This was appreciated all the more since there is no elevator and the rooms are on the second level. The view...

The scare we got when we arrived outside this hotel is nothing to exaggerate. Paint chipping off the walls and peoples laundry hanging out of the side of the building. It was in a decent location of Naples (if there is such a thing). The view from the room was indeed very nice, but that is about as much as...
