Myself and my girlfriend stayed at the Rex for two nights in Feb 2011. We were very happy with the experience. The location is fantastic, it's half a block away from the sea- we had a small balcony from which you could see the water. The rooms were clean with a big, comfortable bed. The staff were helpful. For the...

I stayed in the Hotel Rex in Naples in December, 201, for a week. I found the hotel a pleasant experience even if it is a 3 star establishment. The staff were helpful and friendly, spoke better english than my Italian, and were always ready to help. The hotel is well placed for all the tourist spots, most being a...

The Rex is a splendid location near to the Castello Dell'Ovo. Off the main streets, it is quiet and we had a room with a view of Vesuvius. Brekafast is limited but adequate and the room was small, but overall ggod value.

I already knew this hotel but recently it has been renowed and improved a lot. Rooms are clean and comfortable, service is impecable and friendly, the position of the hotel is great and the ratio price/advantages really good.

Well situated for walking to the Port area, Corso Umberto and other shopping areas, and the Historic Centre. Many good restaurants nearby and so close to the harbour. Mt Vesuvius was visible from our room. The showers are quite small, but otherwise the bathrooms and bedrooms are fine. The breakfast room is somewhat cramped, the layout of the buffet area...

Comfortable hotel located in a safe area of Naples. Clean rooms, fresh cotton sheets, good towels and most importantly for me, as a woman of a 'certain' age travelling alone, helpful, patient, friendly staff who were at pains to assist. Free use of laptops and wifi in reception, toiletries provided, breakfast included and lots of smiles. This hotel has a...

We've just come back from staying at the Rex Hotel for one week. It's a nice 3* in a 5* area. Although Naples is very interesting, it can feel pretty dangerous at night, particularly around the Spainish quater and the Piazza Garibaldi (where a lot of the hotels are). Hotel Rex is right by the harbour and therefore in a...

The only good thing we came across in our 3 days in Naples was the food. The hotel looked beautiful on the surface. Very modern and crisp looking. The rooms were very small though. I traveled with my 3 brothers (age 19-24). We spent 2 nights here and I wanted to leave before the first night began. We arrived mid...

The hotel is verry well located, the room was big and very comfortable, the staff is more than helpful and polite. It also has good value for money. If there is something to improve i think is the breakfast services. In conclusion we had a verry pleasent stay in this hotel and we recommanded it to all tourists that plan...

Spent 3 nights at Hotel Rex and had a wonderful time in Naples. Unfortunately, we were not given a room with a view (which I had asked well in advance), so we had to cope with a noisy, street-side ground-floor room, which made it quite difficult to get some sleep. This left aside, the guys at the reception were always...
