We stayed two nights, because of the major road works in Naples the hotel was a little tricky to find, even with Satan!!, it is situated on the outskirts of the city in an industrial shipping area and the main entrance is found on a...More
If you stay here, don't walk from the train station at night! We definitely did not feel safe unfortunately. The hotel itself was a great crash pad as we took the train to Pompeii for the day! The breakfast was good enough. The highlight for...More
Good quality hotel - nice rooms and helpful staff.
Breakfast is reasonable - limited choice, but enough
Secure free parking next to the Hotel. 5 minute walk to a metro station to take you into Naples, or about a 15-20 minute walk into the City....More
As soon as we walked out of the train station, my husband and I wanted to turn around, buy a ticket, and get out of there. The area is filthy. We walked 1 1/2 miles from the train station to the hotel and the closer...More
Absolutely the worst possible location in Naples. The free shuttle they have to downtown helps but it's only available in the evenings. Was traveling with my cousin and we didn't even feel safe walking to the metro. Kids partied almost every night. Thought I possibly...More

In hindsight would you recommend taking a taxi direct from the airport? We're 4 people arriving late on a Saturday, two of which are children. Did you see fixed price tariffs advertised in taxis as they're supposed to be? Anyone out there done this?
If so roughly how much should the taxi cost?

Sorry for the late reply, just seeing the notification. I would definitely get a taxi and do not get into one until you see the fixed price. I will warn you, I was not impressed at all with Naples proper. You will need to be cautious with your children and your belongings. Across the entrance to the sister hotel are people whom are living under the eves of an abandoned building. I would not walk around the hotel area - take taxi's or you can Uber but they frown on that (hotel does, don't know if they get a kickback or not). There is no place to swim in Naples, just so you are aware. They call their bay their "beach" . It is no beach. Good luck!
