I have visited this place before and there is no doubt it is nice but i couldn’t not post about a recent experience. Several months ago I booked a one night stay for this January and got a good deal (booked directly). The booking was confirmed by the hotel. A couple of months later the hotel emailed me telling me that there were renovations for the duration of the time I was there and asked me to cancel my booking which I did not do immediately because if they can’t accommodate me, I would have expected them to cancel the booking themselves. They later chased me up as I had not done this with the same story about renovations. The strange thing was is that the accommodation is still available to book and has been throughout (only now at extortionate prices). I did not even pay this when the pool was available in peak times in the summer! I responded and questioned the hotel and they responded stating that they will use my response as authority to cancel! This hotel is not worth the money they are now charging. I enjoyed my multiple stays previously but the hotel is not worth the money. It would seem that the hotel are only interested in getting as much money as possible and are dishonest with their loyal customers- a real shame. Plenty more hotels in Pompei!

I cannot recommend this place enough , you will not be disappointed. Firstly we chose this resort as it was close to the ruins of Pompeii , and given the short time we had we felt this would be ideal. The staff assisted us before we arrived in arranging a taxi to collect us from the train station to the resort. Antonio was extremely responsive to emails and our requirements . On arrival the welcome was very friendly and easy. We checked into our room which was clean and exactly what we required. The whole resort is quiet and peaceful , the pool is amazing and a good place to relax. We enquired about touring the ruins of Pompeii and Antonio arranged for us, in our opinion, the best guide to take us around given our limited time. His name was Francesco and not only was he an amazing guide he was also an archaeologist working on the sites so we were given an extreme insight into lots of different areas of the ruins. Antonio and the staff also recommended us to eat at the resort restaurant, which was amazing also. Once the staff learned that we had an early flight out the following day they arranged for an early breakfast to be bought directly to our room. Incredible , amazing service throughout and we would definitely choose to stay here again as a couple or with our family and children when we return to Pompeii. Thankyou again to Antonio , Francesco and all the staff at Bosco de medici

Extremely helpful staff, we only had one night here but it finished a ten day Italian travel break perfectly . The restaurant was a treat, beautifully cooked genuine Italian food, a million miles from overrated Amalfi restaurants. We wish we had longer here x

Just come and stay, you will not regret! Excellent resort with winery, hotel and restaurant. Staff is very good and trained very well. They are attending, caring and trying to find the best solutions. Good pool, you can do laps, comfortable rooms, nice location - short walk to the ruins, shot drive to vesuvius. Wine tasting and oh, the food in the restaurant are just amaising.

The pool is really nice and big, however cold. The hotel is quite far away from the Pompeii ruins. The winety restaurant is really nice and wine tasting was good. The staff doesn’t speak english well and the prices of the rooms are quite high. Breakfast is good!
