We stayed here when we were in Pompeii and although a short walk to the city centre was a very pleasant hotel. It was not expensive and was very friendly. Nice breakfast. The rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable. TV and wifi was included

Simply cannot fault this hotel, and for a very reasonable price you get a nice clean room and basic facilities. Our room had an amazing view of Mount vesuvius that you could see from the bed. Fantastic! Reception team are extremely helpful and always happy to assist.
Breakfast is basic but very cheap. €3 per person. Coffee very nice indeed.
You can buy drinks for a good price at the bar. A bottle of red was €10 with glasses.
Only negative was the location which is not great if you want to walk into town. You can walk there, but it's a main road. I have not let this affect our score though because that was my fault for not researching, not theirs! There is a free underground car park if you have a car.
Overall this is perfect to visit the sites etc and a very welcoming hotel.

You won't be disappointed, so don't waste time. In this instance, book your room at the Hotel Visagi and then read the reviews. There are 16 rooms, so get lucky! For me, finding this hotel was like finding a pearl in an oyster. You'll understand that better, once you have visited the Pompeii region.
We were touring Italy by car, so we only stayed for one night, before moving further south. Had we needed a base, then we would have definitely chosen this modern hotel. Hotel Visagi is outstanding, not just clean, but immaculately so. It ticks all the boxes. Clean, comfortable and pleasant with every item and fixture, as new. A 3* hotel that puts 4* in the shade, so you get great value for money. There was no charge for parking my car in their secure underground garage, which was a new experience. The staff were smartly dressed, courteous and very helpful.

We stayed in the Visagi for just one night in September - it had only been open for a few weeks.
The location is about 5 minutes drive outside Pompei close to a busy junction but our room faced away from the traffic and we had no noise. There is free parking under the hotel and a lift to the lobby / bar area. We saw a couple of rooms which were individually designed, modern and well furnished. There were a couple of teething problems with lighting etc but these will surely be quickly rectified. Overall the room was comfortable and the shower room well equipped - no frills but a good standard.
The staff were excellent and couldn't do more to help. We arrived tired afer a long day and asked for a suggestion of a restaurant in Pompei. Not only did they suggest an excellent restaurant, they also called them and arranged for the restaurant to collect us and bring us back to the hotel after our meal. In the morning we needed to use the internet (free) but there was a minor problem and the only person who could fix it was sleeping. They woke him and in a few minutes he had it fixed.
Maybe because they are still new their prices are very reasonable, but even paying a little bit more this hotel would represent good value.

Being on the far edge of Pomepii, this hotel could easily be overlooked as a good base to stay to see the ruins. It is well within walking distance of the town centre and the ruins though it is not a short walk.
This hotel really surprised us considering it was fairly cheap. Breakfast was better than other hotels with the same number of stars, especially if you have a sweet tooth. Room was very spacious with an excellent view of Mt Vesuvius. Staff were friendly giving very helpful directions to anything you might want to find.
The only downside was the hotel not having a restaurant, there is however a very good take away Pizzeria just across the road!
I would definitely recommend this if you intend seeing the ruins, staying a little further out of town is well worth it to save the money but still get a friendly clean hotel.

I walk a lot but this location is best for a car as it is not that close to town and the ruins, but rather, close to a highway exit. You must walk over a overpass of the highway and along a busy street or "traffic artery" in order to get to the town, then, through the town to the ruins. It is about 15 or 20 or 30 minutes but the problem is that for most of the day you will be walking through the ruins, and unless it is winter, it can be very hot and there is a lot of pavement. Why spend that extra 45 to 60 minutes walking along a not very interesting access road when you can find a hotel closer to the ruins, e.g. in a town where you will be closer to restaurants and interesting town life.
However, the staff at this place are very kind: they picked me up at the train station and delivered me back there; and it is true that a restaurant in town offers free shuttle service. You really don't want to walk to town after a long day at the ruins so it is great that this is provided for those who are not traveling by car.
The breakfast is decent and the rooms are very clean. The light bulb was dead at my bedside and a new one failed to provide any light. So the next morning the hotel had an electrician come who fixed the switch. They seem eager to provide good service.

Stayed here one night and it was perfect, only a short drive from the ruins. We were given excellent lunch and dinner suggestions by the staff, and was picked up by the owner of one (La Betolla del Gusto and Mascolo - HIGHLY reccommend). The room itself was not huge, but large with a view towards downtown Pompeii; clean and comfortable, good wifi. A parking garage below is a little tight if you have a car larger than a Fiat 500 or a Smart, but it's doable. The coffee was good, although the breakfast selection was not. You might be better off checking out one of the corner bars for a much more interesting and fresh breakfast experience.

Nice place away from the 24h noise of city life. Room was definitely big enough for one. 10 minute walk to a restaurant rated 20th out of 200+, 15-20 minute walk that gets you to a little mega mall that has a large grocery store, 20-30 minute walk to the road that fronts the Pompei ruins.
Staff was a wonderful help, but it helps to know some Italian, of course.
Breakfast was not the humongous American style, but it's fine because there are bakeries everywhere to, and along along the main road fronting the Pompei ruins.
Will definitely choose this place again!
Grazie mille!

We stayed here for four nights in September and couldn't fault it in any way. The rooms were clean and well presented with good facilities. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels and linen and the minibar was good value. The breakfast was a basic continental breakfast which did the job. We were surprised that this was only a 3* hotel as we think it deserves another star! I would recommend it to anyone and if we ever return to Pompeii we will stay here again.

Dear Josh Markel,
We are sorry but for June 2nd we are full.
Best regards
We are sorry but we do not have internal laundry
"If you do not mind hard beds stay here but Pompeii can be difficult to find a safe hotel with secure rental car parking which is required by the car firms for Pompeii. I would day trip by train from either south or north locations."Read full review
