A comfortable hotel located in Pompei with nice rooms, in-house restaurant and private parking. Breakfast choice is enough and the restaurant offer a variety of dishes to satisfy your needs during lunch or dinner. Upon request, a pick-up/drop-of navetta service is available. Overall a nice location to enjoy the nearby touristic sites in a strateguc position which allows you to take train from a nearby station and reach your desired destination. Hotel personnell is friendly and professional making your stay like at home.

My wife and I have just returned from a visit to Pompeii, Italy and we stayed at the Costa Hotel.

We arrived well before check-in time, in the hope of storing our suitcases, but after a welcome drink, we were told that our room was ready and we were able to go to it and unpack.

On unpacking, we discovered that we'd forgotten the mobile phone charger and went to reception to ask where we could buy one. We were lent the receptionists personal charger, and later on, another member of staff drove us to the local Hypermarket and helped us purchase a new one (I'm sure you will appreciate that navigating through a hyper market, not in your home country, is quite daunting, and so the assistance given was invaluable).

Each morning the receptionist asked where we were going and each morning arranged a lift to the local railway station for us. Each evening they asked us if we'd had a good day, and seemed genuinely interested in what we'd done.

Sunday was International Women's Day, and the manager gave my wife a bunch of flowers and some chocolates - so thoughtful.

We were made to feel exceptionally welcome and I don't think it would have been possible for any of the hotel staff to have made us feel more welcome.

We do intend to return to the Pompeii region of Italy sometime in the future, and will definitely be choosing the Costa Hotel

Dear Alan, first of all we want to say "thank you" for these feedback that comes from your heart. Our main purpose is that everyone can feel how much we do every day to assure the warmth of an environment both familiar and professional, the way we learnt at the beginning of our ambicious project. We do all the possible to avoid any discomfort in our guests' stay and so little things (the room ready in short time e.g) are essential to demonstrate the care we have for everyone. Thus, in our mission we daily receive wonderful emotions, constantly repaid with words of joy and affection like yours. Every detail contributes to enriching an experience that would otherwise be flat, every new guest becomes part of our family in a never ending journey through the treasures of our country. We actually are genuinely interested in everything our guests do (or can do) during their permanence and we think that the best suggestions can only come from who lives the territory. Come back to see us as soon as possible, to enjoy again the pleasure of sharing our beautiful land with us. With love The staff

My wife and stayed for one night in early November 2021 as we visited the Archeological site. The service and hospitality was beyond compare. I must thank Carmelo in particular, but the whole staff just couldn't do enough to ensure our stay was a delight. Our room standard but clean and with a good shower. But, the highlight is the beautiful courtyard with its pomegranate trees and gorgeous tiling. In fact the whole hotel is tiled beautifully - the lobby/bar area is bright and classic. The breakfast includes eggs, fruit, various meats & cheeses and a nice selection of fruit. It is not located in downtown Pompeii but rather just outside. The surrounding neighbourhood had a grocery store where, again, the owners couldn't help us enough. Carmela helped arrange both our taxi's to the site and a driver to Positano for us. She also ordered a pizza delivered for us. We will always remember her and the Costa Hotel with a smile and in our hearts. Thank you!!!

The room was small but practical in a very Italian like neighborhood. About a 25 min walk from the port where you can scuba dive or Yamaha store where you can rent a motorcycle. About a 10 min walker from a train station that can take you to Naples or the beautiful town Sorrento.

We arrived at the Costa after having one of our cabin bags lost... honestly they can't do enough for you. Phone charging, arranging taxis the next morning for exactly where we needed to be (local shopping centre) to replace lost stuff.. taxis arranged there and back.
We ate in the hotel and OMG that ravioli was amazing..
Next day husband got a cake a candle and an big happy Birthday from the staff.. he thought this was great btw to say hes a grumpy old man :)
Next day we went to the ruins for his birthday.. the lady (owner? Sorry) and her lovely fella took us in their very cool Italian mini .. and collected us (husband loved this)..
The young girl behind the desk is wonderful made loads of calls to find (still missing) case... thank you xx
Oh and the little cute dog .. unfortunately speaks Italian so tends to ignore you if you call him in English:)
Brilliant experience from start to finish thank you so much

Lisa and Gavin :)

The hotel was lovely! The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, helping us find transportation and a wonderfully delicious dinner for a very large group. Carmen is a rockstar, who made our visit to Pompeii amazing!! The rooms were very clean and the price was really great. The breakfast was delicious and everything was very convenient for a Pompeii tour the next morning. Grazie mille!

Stayed for one night in January. I was lucky to have Carmena as the receptionist. She was extremely helpful and kind. I walked from the main train station of Pompeii and it took me more than an hour to get to the hotel, but when I arrived there Carmena told me that there is another station which is only 10-15 min away. She gave me a local map and described to me what interesting places I could visit and how to reach them.
The room was quiet and very clean. Breakfast was abundant and delicious. If I ever return to Pompeii, I will certainly stay here again.

P.S:
1) based on my experience, in January it may be rather cold sometimes, and rain is frequent;
2) there's a pizzeria at the intersection of via Ponte Persica and via Provinciale Ripuaria, called Trammiere. It's only 5-10 min walk from Costa Hotel. I ordered two pizzas to-go, waited for 30 min or so (because they seem to have a lot of orders in the evening), but it was totally worth it. The chef who makes pizzas is a really extraordinary person. Believe me, you will not forget this place if you visit it.

My experience with the Costa Hotel Pompei was excellent from start to finish. All of my questions upon initial contact were addressed promptly and in relevant detail. As someone who travels a considerable amount, I do have very specific requirements and these were met to my satisfaction. Importantly, the communication reflected a genuine interest on the part of the Costa Hotel to ensure that I have an enjoyable stay and at no time was I made to feel that I was being troublesome!

Dinner was served to me in an outer courtyard area and suffice to say it was delicious.

The room was comfortable and clean.

It was so nice there!
The hotel is so clean!
The staff is so amazing and kind!
The lady at the reception was very helpful,
She provided us with advice on where and how to buy tickets, what to see in the area.
On our first night, the restaurant was not open, but they opened it just for us and prepared dinner for us, which was very delicious!
The time spent there was absolutely fantastic, I would go back anytime! Couldn't it be tomorrow? :D

I travelled to Pompeii to visit a friend during the European heatwave! I was greeted at the desk by the Lovely and helpful Carmella she welcomed me warmly and gave me all the information I needed to make the most of my stay here in Pompeii.

The hotel it’s self is nicely decorated with a mix between traditional ceramics and met with a modern touch.

The rooms are clean, good looking and well ventilated, not once did I have a hot and sweaty night as the air-con was top notch and kept me cool which was needed in 30 degree heat at night!

All the staff are friendly and helpful.

If you’re lucky you will find Nino, the cute little daschuand waiting to say hi to you at the door!

Will definitely be visiting again!

The hotel booked a cab to meet me at the Airport. I think it cost me about 50 euros. On the way back to the airport I felt secure enough to take a train into Naples (about 3 euros) and a taxi from there (15 euros)
