Felt very welcome in this family run business. The mother and daughter team who looked after the premises were very friendly and helpful. Room was modern, spacious and clean. Would definitely use this hotel again. Highly recommended and great value for money.

We got moved here from a different hostel and the rooms are lovely.. To look at. The shower head only worked through three holes and the bed was just as hard as he floor. The area is lovely outside the room but there is absolutely nothing to do here. You're basically at the front door of the ruins and there's...

Once we got off the train and made a left, we walked to our hotel. We passed the campground and other hotels along the way. This hotel is gated and very safe. It does sit near train tracks, but any noise can be removed depending on the situation of your room. Front rooms have nice windows that open and balconies....

After reviewing hotel information, we decided to go with Villa Diomede due to location, amenities and "shuttle with surcharge", which made all this very attractive. We arrived at Naples Airport (NAP) and called hotel, 1st call ended with man hanging up due to communication issues I guess, 2nd call ended with we do not shuttle get a cab, so we...

The fridge, the safe, the air conditioning, and the tv - nothing worked. We spoke to reception about it, who came and looked, made a pitiful show of "fixing" the items, but basically shrugged and went away. No apology, no offer of a different room. Also, there was a major infestation of ants. Again, someone came and sprayed the ants,...

This villa was just around the corner from the ruins, so was ideally located for that. There was free parking and good breakfast choices in the mornings. Our room was quite comfy for 4 (we had our 2 young children with us). After 3 nights the level crossing was driving us mad (it is right next to the villa and...

I would not call this accommodation 4 star but we were a large group of nine people sharing two largish rooms at very affordable prices for a week. It took us a bit of time to settle down, but once settled, we all loved it. All of the hotel employees were very nice and smiling. The breakfast was more than...

Moved here after a miss understanding with a booking at another hotel. Yes you can hear the trains when they run, but they stop around 11 p.m. and start again around 6.30am. The room we had was on the second floor with a balcony which was a god send after a days walking. While it is next to the train...

We stayed here 2 nights. We booked through booking.com and were mislead by the location description as well as the location shown on the map published on booking.com (which shows actually the camping site belonging to the same company, just beside the station). The real location is approx 800 meters from the Pompei Villa dei Misteri Circumvesuviana train station, right...
