Loved this hotel. Smart and stylish with welcoming and friendly staff.
Our well appointed and good sized room was on the north side and had a spectacular view over to Vesuvius.
Ideal location, parking is close by and the Pompeii ruins are only a short walk away.
In the other direction the centre of modern Pompeii with fine restaurants and a spectacular church.
Lunch menu in the bar is well priced, tasty and the air conditioning very welcome. Ideal to catch a quick snack / drink.
We only stayed one night but would have happily stayed longer. A very relaxing environment a step away from the bustle of hundreds of tourists at the Pompeii ruins.

Spent 2 nights in The Habita79 and the hotel is stunning! Staff are fantastic - from the moment we arrived until departure everyone was so professional and provided exceptional customer service. Very modern, spacious and shining clean! Room was fab!We visited Nuxe Spa for a treatment and the use of the sauna/steam/ jacuzzi pool - probably our only slight disappointment with the overall experience were the treatments at €90 per person. Treatment room was cold, beds very hard and just not the experience I was expecting. The facilities in the thermal suite were fab though and we really enjoyed the hour there. I would recommend just paying the €20 per person to use these facilities only. We were also v fortunate to experience the first night of Raw restaurant's menu launch. It was exceptional! Highly recommend this hotel and we loved our stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at Habita79! Their breakfast is exceptional (for sure one of the best on Amalfi coast) and the staff is extremely friendly and nice, they really made us feel welcomed while explaining all the dishes they have prepared.

Hotel is very stylish and pays a lot of attention on all the details (great books!). Just keep in mind that there is no pool and the weather can be very hot.

Do not stay in this hotel unless you want 1 star service and especially if your not Italian.

Firstly the taxi dropped us off and then had automatic driveway poles to stop the cars but don’t have someone manning the door so the taxi couldn’t drive through so we dragged our bags across the cobblestone.

Check in was prompt but very rude and didn’t tell us anything about the hotel.

We tried to us the rooftop, we have a private function on so you can’t go up and use the bar.
We can back from a walk around the ruins in the heat and we’re tied out and hoping to us the spa, ohh that closes at 7pm and we got there at 6:30 so no you can’t come in and need a booking and it’s 20€.
So we went back to the room had a shower and tried to go to the bar downstairs, again the private function had spread to the bar and this was then not available to sit down and have a drink.

And the cherry on the cake was the rooms were too solid for the phone reception to work and when we phoned to say the internet wasn’t connecting they said it was broken, I’m on holiday trying to plan my activities and meals, as wait your hotel cannot accommodate anything except a bed for me, I must go outside the hotel to do anything!
What a joke of a service, experience and never should you be called a M Gallery, a modern inn is a great description.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience at Habita79. We have a dedicated space for the luggage drop off protected by automatic poles. Is clearly indicated to dial at the intercom to have access to the parking. The taxi driver should have accompanied you at the entrance. I do apologize if our restaurants where fully booked during your stay. Our staff is always available to book a table or to give suggestions about neighbor opportunities. Our Nuxe SPA offer its services to the hotel guests at a preferred rate and is open to external guests. Opening hours and prices are available on our website. In regards to the Wi-Fi we suffered some interruption from the local network but I can realize that should have been a small discomfort for you. We appreciate your sharing your concerns, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the future. Sincerely,

At the ground floor restaurant an hot evening of August , not a cloud in the sky lots of people every where at restaurants terraces and bars of Pompeii. We had booked a table outside for four, but when we arrived we were told that for risk of rain we had to eat inside. A few minutes later we realize the real reason for this transfer, there only had two waiters for more than twenty tables. The food is absolutely not as you would exspect in such a magnificent place like this. but even less up to the charged prices. Finally i would say; an attempt of Italian "nouvelle cuisine" to be absulutely review. Today people are traveling the world and eating real good food they should realize that.

Dear Mr Pascal, Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience at the Habita79 Hotel and Spa Pompeii - MGallery. We are glad you have appreciated the style and the decor of our brand new hotel. At MGallery Pompeii, we offer two restaurants: The Roof located on the beautiful terrace of the hotel, it is the perfect place to socialize over a cocktail and enjoy a revisited fusion cuisine while admiring Vesuvius and the archaeological site of Pompeii and Il Circolo offers typical dishes of the Campania tradition in a contemporary-chic context combined with a modern mixology and boasts a large garden and a terrace for private events. Our executive Chef has worked with the most prestigious names in Neapolitan Cuisine and now thanks to his talent we are happy to offer a superior level of gastronomy. I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. We appreciate your sharing your concerns and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future. Sincerely, Habita79 - Team

We enjoyed our stay here but I'll start with the only issue we had. Breakfast.
Breakfast was served from 7am to 10am, we decided to go at 8am, one hour after opening. When we went around to the hot food area, it felt like it was the end of breakfast time, as there was no food left. We took what little food there was and sat down and watched as many others guests were going to the food and opening the pots to see it was still empty. We told the staff and they said it was coming, we finished eating and still the food hadn't been topped up.
We asked again and the wait staff brought food to our table but still not filing up the buffet. This happened on both days we were there.

Aside from that, we were given interconnecting rooms, which was good as it felt like we had a really long room. And we were also given a room with a view of Mount Vesuvius. House keeping was very nice and they topped up our mini-fridge with water often. The rooms and hotel in general is very clean. Bathrobes and slippers are provided. It has a TV with some English channels but not a lot.

The reception is very nice, art decor style. The staff are friendly and helped us with information and to book our taxi to the airport.

There's also a terrace bar on the roof, it has a good view and the atmosphere is very nice. Would recommend going up there for a chilled out post-dinner drink.

The best thing is the location of this hotel, it's close to the train station, very close to the ruins of Pompeii, there's lots of restaurants, gelato parlours and cafes nearby. There's a church near, too. And, shops with excursions, which we used to take us to the top of Mount Vesuvius.

We visit habita pompei 79 for a week. We where quite upset for several things,
1. They are doing parties / events which the clients of the hotel cannot now in advance + they dont allow the guests of the hotel cannot attend as they where private events in the restaurant / bar of the hotel. Making impossible to have a drink or eat properlly the workers of the hotel they ask us to have dinner outside or in the room which is unnaceptable and humilliating for a guest that is staying 7 nights in the hotel. 4 stars stars hotel without a bar than can be use for dinner? Insulting.
2. Rent a car or have a taxi is challenging and overpriced do it throught the hotel. As tourist in pompeii they try to overcharge us all the time even trying to do it througth the hotel. Another reason for not feeling safe.
3. People for the event that we cannot attend they could stay in the lobby drunk. Making inevitable to feel isolated from an event that is occupying the hotel. Security rude and inquisitive with guests of the hotel in the hotel.

In summary, this hotel needs to change the hospitality policy in order to be a hotel of the category that intends to be.

Unfortunately we were not able to stay in this hotel as we were unable to travel due to the rapid spread of the omnicrom varient in the U.K. We had a 5 day trip planned over the Christmas period visiting Rome & Pompei for 6 family members. The hotel refused to give us a refund or allow us to postpone our stay despite every other hotel and tourist attraction booking doing so. They just didn’t want to know - incredibly unhelpful, saying it wasn’t their problem. I would not ever consider using this hotel in the future if this is the attitude of the General Manager.

Dear Sir, we do apologize if your travel plan didn't go as planed. As per our record you have booked through an on line portal a prepaid rate. We didn't received any request from the portal itself and additionally the rate plan you have choose was not refundable if cancelled or modified within 7 days from the date of arrival. During this period of uncertainty we suggest to use the flexible options available on our website all.accor.com. It will be our pleasure to offer a special rate if you will decide to plan a new visit in Pompei.

We tried to think of how best to describe this hotel, and settled on enjoyable. Just as good would be comfortable and perfect. The position is great for the ruins and centre, the service is excellent, staff are very helpful, and food was very good indeed.

We had three nights there on the first floor in the middle of the hotel. I was rather surprised that they have a party until 1am, being usual for Thursdays for the guests and the public. The resident demographic was the other end of the spectrum to the nature of the act, which was very loud. We were minded to leave the restaurant during the sound testing, and were not permitted to move outside. I could hear the bass sound in our bathroom, but fortunately not in the bedroom. I did wonder what it must have been like for the rooms immediately above. I doubt that many guests had any interest in the party, and I would respectfully recommend that if there is entertainment in that dining room then never at that volume, and with no possibility of being heard in the hotel rooms.

If the hotel only concentrated on being a hotel and for guests appreciating a quiet relaxed stay then we would have awarded 6 stars if we could. It is marvellous and thank you to all for the great stay.

Pompei is a top destination and the hotel itself is quite nice. We were 5 adults and two kids and we reserved 3 rooms from dec.7th to 10th.
They made a real mess in terms of booking we did on line to the link they sent us. They said they do not belong to ACCOR group and do not have access to Accor digital space. It means you have to resend all the docs of confirmation you receive from Accor to them. In practical terms our resevation was cancelled even if we got the reservation number from Accor. The assistance at the front desk was very poor and not professional. They found the rooms, anyway, it was december and I believe the hotel was not facing any overbooking but the overall idea we got was very bad. Check out was a mess as well. On the other side, breakfast was really great and the waiters very kind and efficient.
