Right in centre of Pompei, this hotel was just 5 min walk from one of the three train stations in Pompei (on Naples - Poggiomarino line). There are many restaurants just a couple of minutes from the hotel. The post office, cash machine, bakers and small supermarket are just 5 min walk from hotel. The hotel staff were friendly and...

Like all of our accommodation in Europe, we booked this hotel the morning of our arrival. When we arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. The entrance was tucked away just down a side street, but signage was easy to see. The foyer was very clean and bright; it had a very welcoming feel. Staff were friendly and spoke a little English...

The room was clean. The shower good and the bed big and comfortable. The road is noisy. The breakfast was limited. Great position and restaurants nearby. Beware there are 3 train stations in Pompei! Make sure you use the right one!

The hotel Amleto has an excellent location. Staff is great. Breakfast is very good and if there is anything else that you prefer, they will be ready to provide it. I am allergic to gluten and i had a lot of options during breakfast. The hotel building might look dated but the staff and service compensates this. Wifi is perfect...

I would have rated this hotel as "poor" for the reasons listed in the title. We stayed two nights. Our room was never made up. I had to request clean towels from the front desk. There was no battery in the safe, so we had to request one before we could use it. There is a lot of noise from...

Quaint little bed and breakfast just a block away from the Basilica. A little noisy at night, but didn't bother me. The staff was very helpful. We opted for the pre-paid dinner, so we were taken to a pizzeria that had good food and also a great staff.

Within 10 minutes of the Sanctuario Circumvesuviana Station and 5 minutes from the entrance to the ruins. Friendly, efficient welcome by very pleasant receptionist who also sorted out some minor room problems very quickly and to the best of her ability. Adequate triple room with comfortable beds, pillows and good linen. However, only one chair and one bedside light to...

The Amleto was perfect for our family trip to the archeological sites nearby. Sparkly clean (triple) room and bathroom, charming & welcoming reception staff. Super-comfortable bed which had a quality king size mattress. I disagree with some of the previous lukewarm reviews which do not do the place justice and we would definitely come back here. The breakfast was basic...

We stayed in a bright, quaintly decorated room with a small balcony which was very clean and comfortable. The hotel is moments from the central piazza, 5 minutes walk from the Circumvesuviana train station and 10 mins walk to the main entrance of the Pompei ruins. There are many restaurants nearby (I recommend Add'u Mimi). The breakfast was good -...

We stayed in the hotel for a night . Service is friendly but not overly friendly. The hotel is very clean and beautifully styled . I was not impressed by the breakfast . There was not a lot of selection and there was not adequate utensils provided such as spoons for the cereal . The hotel room had a beautiful...
