I was very satisfied with my choice! In the center of town, just a 10 min walk to Termini station, behind basilica Santa Maria Maggiore. Very large and comfortable room, large bathroom, very good wi-fi. Jacobo was waiting for me to check in (you have to let them know when you are arriving because there are not always there, it's...

First the good: - The hotel is close to the train station (Roma Termini). If you don't mind walking a few kilometers you can see most of the major monuments by foot. - The rooms and common spaces are well decorated and comfortable. - Free coffee, water and orange juice were nice amenities to have. Now the BAD: - We...

Relais La Maison offers a clean and stylish Bed and Breakfast service at a very convenient location that is within walking distance to the train and bus terminal, public transport, and other landmarks. There are also many nice restaurants and cafes, even an independent cinema, near by. I enjoyed their breakfast that is simple but of quality ingredients. The common...

Comfortable accommodations. Jacobo was super friendly and helpful. Provided lots of information for our stay. Walking distance to all major sites and train station. AC didn't work but a fan was provided. Loud city noises with windows open but overall enjoyed the stay.

We stayed here from the 2nd September till the 9th. Great B and B, very central a 20 minute walk from Trevi fountain, shopping area and good restaurants. Lovely view of the Santa Maria Maggiore from room 503. I highly recommend the restaurant The Ali Tre Scalini, it is 5 mins from the B and B. There was only one...

We had a lovely stay. Very charming property with all the contemporary comforts. The staff are incredibly helpful. Ask for room 503 with a beautiful view of the cathedral. Central to everything an easy walk from Rome Centrale railway station.

I had a lovely stay at this place for the last week. A great location (walking distance from Termini and nearly all the main sights of Rome), very friendly staff and a delicious breakfast with a view every morning. There was a booking mixup which resulted in my friend and I have to share a room for the first night,...

Everything was great, the place is very comfortable, cozy and well decorate. But Antonio or just Tony is the heart of this place. He does everything for you to feel comfortable and always up for anything you might need. Its unbelievable how he can manage everything by himself. His boss is a luck guy to have him. Location is great...

The checkout time is at 10AM! Looks can be deceiving, this place has some ok wall art and a nice color scheme. That's where it ends, the rest is a sham. The bed was hard, the pillows were terribly hard, 1 hard pillow per person. There were hairs from the previous guest in the bathroom, the rooms are carpeted and...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

“It is a B&B occupying part of a floor in a larger building. There are a handful of rooms so no swimming pool or fitness center. This was great for us but I'm not so sure it would be good with younger kids wanting to entertain themselves. It isn't a resort or full service hotel ... again, we weren't looking for that.”
