I stayed there with my grandfather, and it was great. the place is clean, a very good variety of food in breakfast and most importantly, the owner was extremely kind. He helped us with every thing we needed and made the stay absolutely superb. very close to metro, Vatican, many nice pizzerias and cafe's in a great location. Although the...

There were 6 of us from Canada staying at this place and we all truly enjoyed it! Antonio, the owner, was just phenomenal - offering us his own bottle of wine, when we couldn't find any on the street (because we arrived quite late). HUGE bathrooms, were definitely a welcomed change from other places we have stayed in Europe. Located...

A cute bed and breakfast, just between a subway station and Vatican City, managed by friendly Antonio. Certainly the best place I've stayed in Rome so far!

I really recommend this place. Antonio the owner was very kind and very helpful. The price is suitable to the standard of the rooms. Do not be scary entering the hallway. It has nothing to do with the accommodation and a standard of service that you are going to experience soon. Really recommended place. Do not hesitate to choose. You...

When we first walked into the hallway, we were wondering hat we had gotten ourselves into, but when the owner Antonio let us, he made us feel quite welcome. The rooms were clean, neat with gorgeous wallpaper. It had a view of a church next door, and was quite spacious. The bathroom was really luxurious. The location is excellent, just...

The host Antonio is a charming man, full of information and goes out of his way to help you. The rooms are clean and cosy & the bathroom more than adequate. We went to Rome for my birthday and I ended up with an unexpected present from Antonio. If I ever return to Rome then I will be sure to...

We had a great stay in Rome. Very good location near the Vatican and metro station. The owner was kind and helpful. Good price to conditions value. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for nice b&b in the center of Rome.

We stayed at the Fleur de Lis in April 2010 for three nights, and had a fabulous time. From the outside it looks a little shabby, but inside it's bright, clean and the room we stayed in was really quite big and with a very luxurious bathroom. Breakfast is simple, but relaxed (boiled eggs, toast with various spreads, espresso), and...

    Staying in Prati

    Neighbourhood Profile
    Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
