Perfectly situated on the corner of the 8th floor, the B & B offers stunning views over the city, as well as a small terrace for 2 from one of the rooms. Most of the furnishings in the rooms, as well as in the public area are gorgeous antiques ranging from the 700's to mid-19th century, that give the place... More

Great Location, nice setting in a very typical Roman environment.. Extremely nice and helpful hosts. Patricia and her family responded to every request and made my time in Rome a great experience. Will definitely return to Casa Roma whenever I come back to Rome.

I booked a room for a two days business trip because of the glowing reviews on TA. The owners are really nice and helpful: I arrived late in the evening and they came to open just for me. They answer quickly to emails and are generally friendly and good to have a chat with. Even though I was traveling alone... More

Stop the traffic of a big city like Rome is not yet in our entrepreneurial skills! And there is not even possible to make a roasted chicken for breakfast ...! Coffee, tea, cappuccino, juice, yogurt, biscuits, toast, biscuits, cereals, muffins, butter and jam so far have been sufficient to hundreds of guests, so as to deserve two certificates of excellence... Lovely and friendly B & B with romantic design of the nicely furnished rooms in a tasteful cottage style each equipped with a clean bath room. Both owners were very helpful and friendly giving a lot of tips for sightseeing in Roma. It was a wonderful stay with a beautiful sunset scene on the balcony having a wonderful view to... More

Small and friendly place with very lovely owners. Rooms are just like the pictures on the net - warm and friendly with nice old interior. I can only highly recommend this place. It is placed in the university area near metro stations. But do not expect much life near the BB in the evening. But being close to the metro,... More

Very friendly owner Patrizia, tried to help us in every possible way! Nice decorated room and good lactation! The negative thing was lack of AC! Very hot summer! Very good metro connection with the historical Roma! Take the room with balcony!

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighbourhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
