This hotel occupies just one floor of a weird-looking building, but in itself it is new, modern and clean. The room is quite bare, but also spacious and clean. Good location, near the central station. Girl in reception was polite, but didnt really know anything about Rome. Hotel is alright, room is alright and breakfast is alright. In summary, the...

This was one of the best value hotels we stayed in on a 5 week trip to Europe. It's a small boutique hotel within walking distance of Termini train station, the colosseum, other attractions shops and restaurants. The rooms were modern, clean and spacious. Free wi-fi and a simple breakfast of cereals, fruit and toast was included and served in...

Very friendly staff. Outstanding location. Great breakfast. All in all well worth it. Maybe a little noisy for light sleepers, but this is Rome and maybe my window shutting properly would have helped. Didn't notice until the last night. I would thoroughly recommend it. It won't disappoint.

This cozy hotel is located perfectly close (10 min walk) to the train station. Also, it is in close proximity to most attractions of Rome. The rooms are spacious and clean. If you're like to get a room that doesn't faces the street, this is the place to stay. We were not that lucky! We barely slept 2 of the...

To be!! Absolutely to be!! We are very sorry if you heard some noise from the street ( Via Modena and Via Torino are not NOISY streets actually!). As you can read in most of the reports, we did not have this kind of problem before..but we hope to welcome you again and give you the room you prefer!

We stayed in Suite Dreams one night last week. The hotel has good location: Metro station 1 min away, train station 5 min, close to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and within a walkable distance to the historic centre of Rome. We stayed in the spacious 'black' suite. Everything was super clean and comfortable. The best bed we slept on in...

This is a place to hang your hat at the end of a long day sight seeing. It's conveniently located and has a great restaurant near by, called Target. The rooms are spacious, and the beds are harder than what most Americans are used to. Free wifi and breakfast included in the rate. Breakfast is basic but abundant and the...

I think I am in love with Suite Dreams. It is pretty perfect: super clean, great beds, delicious breakfast, convenient location, white sheets and duvet, roomy, modern bathroom, quiet, and lots of personality. My favorite part was the helpful, competent, friendly staff who were gracious, even when teaching us how to make our own cappuccinos at breakfast. You can pay...

The Suite Dreams Hotel is in an excellent location near most of Rome's major attractions. It is very clean and modern, with a spacious shower. The breakfast was much better than expected, with many choices including hot croissants.

Just returned from 3 nights at Suite Dreams and had to write a review to say how friendly and welcoming the staff are. They recommended a couple of excellent restaurants and showed us all the key sites on the map. It is easy to walk to most of the sites - we did it with 2 children aged 7 and...

We have just returned from 2 nights at SuiteDreams. We had a great time. The room was very clean and the hotel was in a good location. We ended up walking to the main tourist sites, and it really isnt that far at all. Even to the Vatican - if you break it up by stopping off for lunch its...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
