We couldn't have asked for a more perfect weekend. The B&B is in a great location, which allowed us to get everywhere we wanted on foot. It was also surprisingly quiet for somewhere so central, being in an area free of traffic. The building is beautiful with lots of original features and really tastefully decorated. The host was very welcoming...

We stayed here five nights and booked it mainly due to the price ... It was a quaint apartment turned into a bed and breakfast. Small, air conditioned rooms with a comfy bed and a shower within room.bit came with breakfast every morning and was easy to access day and night. The negatives were that there's no one there after...

Reasonable price for a central Roman hotel. Nicely converted granary. Street very quiet but restaurants and Spanish Steps area very close. Breakfast was continental and good on a nice terrace out back. Visited Museum of Leonardo da Vinci and altar of peace both nearby as well as Villa Borghese a bit further off.

This stylish B&B is located really close to the Spanish steps, first floor without elevator (...unfortunately!). The building is cute and ancient, close to the underground and all the best shopping locations in the heart of Rome. Rooms are comfortable and stylish, and Marta at the reception is incredibly kind with her tips about best things to do in Rome...

There are 3 words which are a must for me while traveling: cleaning, comfort, location. I can say that many times in Rome I got some troubles on these since my budget was not so high and to get this kind of services in a city like Rome means to book a 4 stars hotel at least. The location is...

This was our first time to Italy and this B&B was the best. I can't stress enought how clean and comfortable the rooms are. We have traveled much in the states but never received the service we got here. Maya is exceptional and made our stay feel relaxing and welcomed. This is the place to stay with everything you need...

I stayed recently with 3 girlfriends of mine in Vicolo del Lupo. It is a conversion in an old palace in the centre of Rome. 5 minutes walk from the Spanish Steps but in a quiet little street away from all the noise. The place felt like we were the first people to ever sleep in those beds and probably...

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighbourhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighbourhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (21:00), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
