We found B&B Marcantonio on TripAdvisor, and decided to book a room for 6 nights. Located 5 minutes walk away from Stazione Termini and also the Roman bus Terminus, its prime location ensures that transport by bus or Metro back to the hotel is available at any time of day and night from anywhere in Rome. The hotel is also... More

The rooms are so clean, simple and in a great place close to most things in Rome. Parking isn't the best but that's not the hotels fault! Only problem I had is the cleaners are a little noisy in the morning but apart from that I did enjoy my stay Will be visitingg again

We stayed in Rome for three days in September. The location of marcantonio is great, near the train terminal and the metro. The room was clean, with good wifi, tv and AC. Rafaelle was very helpful, showed us how to get around and recommended few places to eat. Would stay here again.

Room is not very big and so does the bathroom. But it was cosy and clean. The air-conditioning couldn't be switched on when we were there in May so we opened the window and it was better. No lift in the building so make sure you can carry your luggage to the first floor. There is a restaurant just next... More

The best thing about this B&B is the location: we could walk to almost anywhere, and if not, the bus and metro stations were 5 min away. The bedroom was really big and clean and it was nice to have a kitchenette where we could prepare some snacks. Raffaele was really friendly and he gave us some tips on where... More

Clean and comfortable room. Perfect location, many restaurants nearby, 3 minutes walk from Termini station. Very friendly manager, gave us many useful tips. Breakfast is served in a coffe nearby, and it is very tasty. Overall a great choice for tourists who want to make the most of their stay.

First time for us in a B & B. The owner Raffaele is a wonderful host and made every effort to make us comfortable. We stayed at BB Marcantonio for a week in Aug 2013. This was the first time we stayed at a B&B and were not expecting much. But we were wrong, it was so much more and really made our stay in Rome an amazing adventure. The owner and operator, Raffaele greeted us with warm hospitality and he is highly knowledgeable... Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
