Relais was a brilliant experience for us. I used to live in Trastevere, and I therefore wanted to stay in an accommodation close to the area I used to live in. Relais was definitely the best option in the area, and we had such a...More
Great location and walking distance to the most city views. Tram 8, and 2 line bus for piazza venezzia and Roma Termini, just outside from the accommodation.
Nice, clean room and bathroom and excellent staff - Francisco.
Absolutely value for money.
We' ll come back.
Pros: Great location, easy 25 minute walk to the Colosseum. Accommodation secure and although situated on a busy road, sleep was not an issue. Breakfast is basic yet plentiful. Walk 3 minutes to Piazza di San Cosimato, find a little local and enjoy the local...More

Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable
eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
