Located within metres of the Spanish Steps Rome 55 gave us everything we wanted for our 6 night stay. All the major attractions were within walking distance and we had an excellent selection of restaurants on our doorstep. Our room was comfortable and very clean with coffee and tea making facilities. Everyone involved in Rome 55 was friendly and helpful.... More

Nice room. Very clean. Very comfortable mattress. Nespresso coffee maker in room. Coffee pods replenished daily. Bath soaps replenished daily. The restaurant just below is delicious. Natalia was great at helping us with maps, taxis, and suggestions for restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed our stay.

We took 2 rooms at the Rome55 guest house for 2 nights. They were very comfortable, family friendly and clean rooms with aircon and mini-fridge, but the best thing about Rome55 is the undeniably fantastic location in the heart of Rome opposite the Spanish Steps, Spagna. There are 5 rooms in total on floor 2 in a townhouse building. Breakfast... More

We had a HORRIBLE experience at this OVERPRICED hotel. When we arrived we realized that the AIR CONDITIONER WAS BROKEN. We complained but they said we should just open the windows and ignore the heat and the noisy street. (!!!) We decided to stay because we had no option but we didn't know that we would spend THE WHOLE NIGHT... More

The owner is so nice it's hard to say the truth, however these things must be corrected. The shower was slippery, the toiletries were not replenished and NOONE is there after 5 p.m. and NO telephone!!! If you misplace your keys or have needs there is no way to get assistance!!! When we arrived we were mislead as the photos... More

There is no bar or restaurant or central lobby it just has several rooms in a large apartment building The lift is from the 50's and is a classic The owners seem to be very... More

If you want VIP treatment, go to Rome 55. It is virtually on the Spanish steps, the center of Rome. The owners are their all day only meters away from the rooms, wanting to help their guests. We will certainly be going back again.

The rooms in this hotel were clean ( but a bit small for me) and the staff were kind , the location is perfect because it's near to Spanish steps and maybe that's why I personally enjoyed my stay because there are great Italian restaurants and designer boutiques around you. But the service could be better than that. It's bed... More

“We had a room on the street, which was somewhat more noisy than an interior room would have been, given that we kept the windows open. This may be less important in the summer, or winter, when air conditioning/heating would mean the windows are closed.”
