The hotel was within convenient walking distance from the train station. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Clean rooms. There were multiple options for breakfast. I would stay again and would recommend it.

You can even see Termini station from the entrance of the hotel - very good location. Couldnt find the location to be dangerous too. Staffs were very pleasant to deal with and they are helpful when we needed help. Clean+spacious room with good breakfast too.

We stayed at Venetia Palace Hotel for a night. Finding the place was easy, given the proximity to the Termini Station. But the short walk (with luggage) can be tiring as the road leading to the hotel is not at all trolley bag friendly. The reception was welcoming. She even guided us for our Vatican city tours, Rome city tours...

The hotel reception on arrival was welcoming. We arrived early so were able to leave our bags in a secure location to go off and explore. Check in later that day was efficient and helpful, providing a brief guide on the facilities available. The rooms themselves were bright & clean, the bathroom could do with an update, but was perfectly...

Stayed here for 5 nights in April 2017. We had booked a Junior Suite, and were not disappointed. The welcome from the staff was brilliant, and on check-in, they advised of some local places to eat, and options for local attractions and excursions. On arriving to our room, it was spotless. A very comfy bed, large telly and a sofa...

I had the pleasure of staying in the Venetia Palace on the 01st April 2017 for 2 nights. We flew into Rome Ciampino airport and got a shuttle bus direct to the Termini station, Rome. The hotel was literally a 2 minute walk from the Main Station. The reception staff welcomed us in a very friendly and professional manner. We...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
