We had a lovely stay at Hotel Damaso and have already recommended it to all our friends. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Beds were comfortable and room size was fine for us as a couple, only little extra it needed was another mirror in the room. There's only one in the bathroom which is fine unless it's in use. A tip for light sleepers, pack some earplugs as the streets can be a little noisy at nighttime. Breakfast had everything you needed to set you up for a day of wandering the streets of Rome. Good selection of fresh pastries, nice coffee, fresh fruits and juice, and a hot egg and bacon selection. The location is perfect for majority of the big sites as all are only within a 30min walk. We didn't use public transport/taxis at all during our 7 day trip. We would absolutely stay again.…
Excellent hotel, in possibly the best location in Roma. All major attractions are within walking distance. The hotel is manned 24/7 ..the breakfasts are very good and the staff are extremely helpful. We needed up staying in this hotel a total of 9 nights…the first six nights were in a lovely superior room..but on our return the last three nights were in a smaller double room, as the place was fully booked.
Very pleasant boutique hotel. Lovely spot for a family weekend I Rome. Excellent location. Fabulous quirky decor. Nice bar area. Good options for breakfast. Very friendly staff. Paulo was especially helpful and very friendly. I Would happily recommend staying here.
Got upgraded to the rooftop terrace room with a large balcony very nice bar and fair continental breakfast very helpful and friendly staff met other travelers each evening in the bar Overall a really nice stay
This is a small, recently remodeled hotel in a great location. It was helpful to have a taxi stand diagonal from the hotel. I'd use it again. Some rooms face a dull interior courtyard, but this also means they are unusually quiet for central Rome.
I highly recommend the Hotel Damaso in Rome! We stayed there a couple weeks ago for a night before we embarked on a Mediterranean cruise. The location was perfect! On our arrival day, we easily walked to Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. After returning to the hotel for a quick break we thoroughly enjoyed the Rome Street Food Tour which met up just steps from the hotel at Campo de’ Fiori. The next morning we enjoyed a great walk to the Colosseum and the Forum before meeting our cab to take us to the ship. Absolutely perfect location! And our room was extremely comfortable and a very nice size and price. We got the classic double for 175 Euros and were very impressed. The rooftop bar provided wonderful views of the city too! In addition, the front desk staff were amazing! Super helpful and friendly always! And I have to say that the included breakfast buffet was about the best I’ve ever had at any hotel. My husband said he had the best cappuccino he’s ever had! Absolutely loved this hotel for our first visit to Rome!…
This hotel is very centrally located and within walking distance of Vatican City, Trevi Fountain and the Coleseum! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel is very clean and modern. Continental breakfast is delicious. Would recommend staying there.
Our stay at the Damaso Hotel was excellent! The hotel is within a block of the Campo de Fiori, making it perfect for dinner out and shopping. The staff are very helpful and the breakfast buffet is wonderful. The Damaso is centrally located in Rome, making it within walking distance of many of the historical sites.
Enjoyed my recent stay at Hotel Damaso. Great location near Piazza Navona & Pantheon. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good selection at breakfast and room was nice size and very clean. Great view from rooftop terrace bar.
