At the corner of Via del Corso and Vicolo Sciarra, the inn is located on the 3rd floor of an old palace. It has only six bedrooms, all with 12 foot ceiling and private bathroom. A cab was sent by the inn keeper to collect us at the airport and a gentleman was waiting for us when we arrived. He...

The is so central. No complaints. Avoid the restaurants at the entrance to the hotel as they are for tourists who don't know any better. We did take a restaurant reservation for Il Flachetto da Donato from this hotel which I also reviewed. Wouldn't recommend. Anyway. Check in was a treat and the hotel transfer arrangement was welcomed. Our room...

Stayed here as a couple for 3 nights in April 2012 and this was our first stop in Italy. We booked here after reading reviews on Trip Advisor & we were not disappointed. We booked a driver through the guest house to bring us from the airport, which was well worth it after a long flight from Australia. There is...

This place is quite a find! It's centrally located within easy walking distance of all the main attractions with the exception of Vatican City. The Staff are very friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to give you a hand and we have really enjoyed talking with them. There was an issue with Expedia that allowed us to...

My wife and our young daughter recently stayed at the La Papessa for 4 nights and it would be hard to find a better place to stay. The staff (Massimo, Caterina and Marcella) were the perfect hosts providing valuable information and great coffee. The location as noted by many other reviewers is perfect with many of Rome's must see sights...

Great location near Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona. Very nice, comfortable room - only four rooms, so service is very personal. Marcela was incredibly helpful with directions, ordering taxis, arranging tour of Vatican, car service from airport, recommending good restaurants (many nearby). Would strongly recommend - location and price were very good.

This very nice guest house is hidden in a building on a corner of Via del Corso. You have to go in the side entrance and up some stairs to a small elevator. The elevator stops between floors, get off at 2nd floor and then you go up 1/2 story to the door of La Papessa. The people that greet...

This guesthouse is small, but so centrally located to everything. We didn't use public transport for a stay in Rome. The staff were so friendly and helpful with everything, they couldn't have done anything more. They organised our taxi transfer to and from Fiumicino Airport, and our pick up was from the Avis depot in the car park. We were...

We stayed five nights during easter. The location is very central at Via del Corso between the the Trevi fountain and Pantheon, walking distance to all there is to see. Several resturants just outside. The hotel has only four rooms making the service very personal. It is three flors up and there is a small lift for one person, but...

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
