Located just across Roma Termini, so it's really accessible, especially if you are coming to Rome via train. The metro station is just next door to the train station, so exploring the city was a breeze. Clean room (looks newly renovated), strong wifi connection, and the common corridor comes with a free mini bar and nespresso. And there's a safe...

We stayed at B&B Roma Central for 5 days in August 2014. We ordered our stay at Hotels.com in June with breakfast included. When we arrived we were told that breakfast was not included but instead there was a free bar. This lead to extra expenses. It was hard to get in touch with the host. It was a nice...

We arrived very early into Rome Termini (Main train station) at around 9.30am and located La Habana B&B within minutes using the map provided on their website. It was so easy to locate and it was our first time to Rome. Upon reaching, we had to telephone the owner to come and open the door for us (He will not...

Only a few blocks from Termini on a quieter street, this B&B is on the 1st floor with 3 rooms. Buzz the intercom downstairs or ring them up as there is no official reception desk, but I was lucky to bump into their staff upon arrival. Didn't feel unsafe despite my evening arrival although there are a lot of questionable...

I am giving this three stars rather than two because the couple who own it are very nice and the room was clean. The day we arrived was 80 degrees which is warm for us.( we are from the pacific NW in the US) We put on the air con before we went to dinner but when we got back...

Have stayed there for 2 nights. Location is excellent and just next block to the Termini. Very convenient for taking metro/bus for rome city visit and train to town nearby as well. We arrived by the airport train and what you have to do is to get an exit just next to the platform and you can arrive the B&B...

We stayed as a couple for five nights, during an escape to Rome. The location is very convenient: just 2 or 3 minutes walking from Termini station. If you're coming from afar, at least you don't have to bother taking a cab, bus or subway to your final destination. Although the neighborhood is a typical "train station surrounding" (understand: not...

Arriving at Roma Termini by train, it is a 2 minute walk to this B&B. You get 3 keys (Front door, appartmentdoor & room) so you are free to go and come as you please. Eventhough you are very close to the station, there is no problem with noise from trains at all! You do hear some cars, but no...

It's very close to the Central Station, literally 5-minute walk and about two streets off the main road. We arrived late (about 10pm) but all we had to do was to just press the main door bell. The owner answered, opened the main door and let us in. Breakfast was basic but the owner was nice to wake up early...

I have always stayed in a 4-5 star hotel whenever I travel but I decided to be more frugal for this Italy trip as I have just quit my job. Rome is an expensive city for hotel accommodation. Although I have never stayed at a B&B, I decided to be a little more adventurous. I read a lot of B&B...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
