We only stayed at That's Rome for one night, but we really enjoyed our stay. We got lost getting there (my phone was dead and we had no map), so we called from my husband's little flip phone and one of the owners (the son, I can't recall his name) came and found us and led us to it. It...

Recently spent four nights at That's Rome on a trip with some friends. The place was very clean, the operators were friendly, and lived next door so they were easily accessible. The complimentary breakfast was great, and the room was very comfortable. The proximity to Termini made it easy to navigate around the city. If you're looking to do a...

Great location for this small B and B.near to Termini..... Clean well decorated modern room, helpful owner. So happy there was no traffic roaring past, as it is behind the buildings on the street .you could make your own drinks, saving loads of money, as Rome so crazy expensive

I recently stayed here for 2 nights with my son and daughter-in-law. The location is so convenient - right around the corner from the train station. Yet because it's an interior building, it was nice and quiet. The room was a great size and had so many thoughtful touches, like a bedside table for each bed, kettle in the room,...

Clean room, tasty breakfasts and we could borrow Rome Rough guide and take a tourist map. And it is only a few steps from Termini, where is the shuttle bus station and near metro, so great location. Staff was friendly.

Owners very helpful, location amazing - so convenient to 2 metro stations, main Termini station, bus station, restaurants, supermarket, laundromat - room clean, no noise, great instructions on how to get there. I never felt uneasy walking at night to & from dinner & back to B&B. Breakfast I...

I liked my stay to one of That's Rome apartments , for few reasons: fair price, privacy, cleanliness, lot of space for Rome, close to Subway station, comfort more than in a 3 stars classic hotel. For some bucks extre you can also have a kitchen.

We had a very lovely time in That's Rome B&B. The family who runs the B&B were incredibly helpful and even stored our bags for us while we went left for a night to go to Capri. They also served us a really nice breakfast bright and early just to suit our schedule. The rooms were nicely decorated and clean....

Very clean, walking distance to the central rail station. Room is nice furnished, breakfast is bringing directly to the room at time you ask, small but tasty. Room has electric kettle, so tea is available any time. Windows are to inner pass way so you are well isolated from street noise. District itself is not nice with all people you...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
