this hotel is in a great location, just a few minutes walk from the main station Roma Termini. As we only wanted somewhere to sleep, the room was veryadequate, the bed confortable and clean with a small bathroom. The staff was very helpful and took time to give us advice everyday on the best transport to our chosen location. It is...

Just returned from four days in Rome.Would not recommend this hotel. The entrance is awful. Hotel not particularly clean. Hair in shower. Long hair stuck on bathroom door for the whole time we were there. Net curtains were filthy. One particular member of staff had a couldn't care less attitude. Our fifth visit to Rome and worst hotel yet

So this year I decided to go to Italy before going to Jerusalem my best city. Rome is romantic even if the hotel is not the best. Staff in the hotel are amazing they went out of there way to try and explain about this amazing city. The rooms are clean and the breakfast ok, yes just ok. It is...

Stayed here for three nights! Its nothing special but it was grand. Its on a busy street so its quite loud outside but once the window was closed I could hardly hear a thing! Theres no air-con, just a fan, but we managed ok in 35degree heat! Really handy to the station - it is literally at the top of...

Booked this hotel as it was so close to Termini and, arriving on a late flight into Ciampino, it was cheap. I was only overnighting as was heading to Napoli the next morning so it was just really used as a place to sleep. Room was really small with no AC, just a fan and the bathroom was tiny, but...

My daughters and I were very pleased with this hotel as it is 2 blocks from train station. Not sure how anyone could give this hotel a bad rating, but then, we did not go out late at night..... Two f the staff were VERY accommodating in suggestions and helping us to purchase tickets to Vatican. The ONLY negative is...

A true nightmare. I believe that the good comments are fake. Sounds huge, impossible to sleep, prostitution under the hotel, bathroom filthy, pubic hair in the sheets. Sense of suffocation due to lack of clean air, they use spray to make it look breathable. Be attentive.

We hadn't booked a room for our last night in Rome, and knowing there might be rain, I booked this hotel for 66 Euro before we left Florence. We needed something close to the train station, just needed a place to sleep, get ready for a long travel day and Hotel Bergamo fit the bill. We met the desk clerk...

Hotel was fine. Goof wifi. Staff very apathetic. To top it off, we accidentally left $100 USD in the room. No problem, we had paid with CC so thought we would call them and get them to use the cash to pay for the room and reimburse the CC. Well we called them and after explaining where the money was,...

I stayed in the hotel just for one night because it was convenient from my late arrival at the airport. Hotel was nice close to the Termini station, a little bit hard to find especially in the night but for 30Euro which I payed it was comfortable, quiet, clean and I slept so well. The staff were very nice as...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
