After many trips to Rome and staying in hotels, we decided to try an apartment on our last trip. I found Residenza Al Saraceno on Tripadvisor and was very impressed. The staff were very friendly and helpful - booking restaurants and airport transport in advance for us and even arranging shipment of shoes I left behind! The apartment are clean...

Stayed for a few nights this summer with another family on a tour of Europe. The hotel is more like a fully furnished apartment than a hotel room! I mean BIG spaces which were perfect for my family of 6...we had a fully implemented kitchen, huge bathroom, living room with a pull out bed and a full bedroom...enormous by Rome/Europe...

GOOD LOCATION - near fontana and spanish steps. If you walk further, you can go to venezia. Grocery is at the corner of the hotel. Deli is also just near the grocery. I was originally booked in a hotel which is farther this area and it was more expensive. I felt that the price of this hotel is very good...

A super market is just in 10 meters from...

We spent 5 nights here with a 3 and 9 year old during a month long tour of Europe. After having stayed in some rather cosy (small) places this apartment was a breath of fresh air. It was a large one bedroom with a sofa bed in the lounge. Fully functional kitchen, 2 tables to sit at and plenty of...

We recently spent 3 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment. On arrival Pietro was so helpful. He provided us with maps and offered to make any bookings for attractions. Also, special thank you to Andrea, without her assistance we would've spent so much time in the long lines at the Colosseum and Vatican. She tried various options to secure our...

We stayed for a second time at Residenza Al Saraceno. We loved it again. The Trevi Fountain was under renovation but it doesn't matter. The location is great for all of the center of Rome. The service was impeccable and the room sparkling. Can't wait to go back again.

This was a hidden gem in a city where hotel prices are outrageous. It wasn't cheap, but it was affordable for a family of four. It has a super old elevator that fits 3 small people without their luggage, but at least it works. We got a 1 bedroom with a small kitchen and a pull out couch. It totally...

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
