This hotel is lovely. The location is great, and if you like a bit of a walk, most attractions are reachable on foot, not just the Colosseo. Otherwise there's a metro station very close by. We only had breakfast at the restaurant, which was delicious. A daily special, hot food to order (pancakes, different eggs etc.), a buffet and obviously great views. The room was nice in the typical Italian palazzo style. Very well-equipped bathroom. The only downside is that due ot the age of the building and the restaurant on the top floor, it's a bit loud, especially in the evening. You can gear people going up and down the stairs, things crash down in the kitchen, and you can hear the road outside. Overall a great experience, I do recommend it.
Nothing bad to say. We had interconnecting rooms overlookong coleseum and the view was incredible. Actual views below along with some saturday night fireworks. Bathrooms nice, everything clean a little smaller than other rooms we have stayed in but it worked. Staff were great from arrival to depature, breakfast location sensational as was the cocktail bar. No complaints. Restaurant probably a little high end for kids but they managed to accomdate them well and had a really nice experience.
This was our second stop for our 15th anniversary trip (first stop was Positano/Amalfi Coast) and it did not disappoint. We had a direct view of the Colosseum and were on top of the old gladiator training grounds. The sense of history was enormous. The location was great for food and walking around. Very tourist-oriented restaurants right around the hotel, but you don't have to walk too far to get into somewhat more local areas. Service was excellent. Suite was very large with an elevator directly to the room. Definitely would book for a special occasion when a splurge is justifiable.
Fantastic hotel with friendly and polite staff. Breakfast is amazing and the views of the colosseum were unrivalled. I wouldn’t hesitate to return. Being British, if I had one area for improvement, tea facilities would have been nice rather than just coffee. Room service food was excellent and the Court Cocktail bar was wonderful! Highly recommend!
We admittedly splurged with points and booked a room for our anniversary for 2 nights. I did write ahead and asked if there were any upgrades available I'b be happy to pay if it was worth it. Upon Arrival Lorenzo said not to worry, the GM had taken care of us. We were stunned to find we had been upgraded to the Suite Colosseo...a beautiful suite that looked right out on the Colosseum. The service was impeccable. The staff was on it with any request. It's a small hotel...with a great restaurant for breakfast on the roof top and a unique bar on the side all with just stunning views. We appreciate all they did and will definitely be back and can't recommend them highly enough. Grazie Mille !
Excellent location - literally around the corner from the Colosseum, and walking distance from great restuarants, bars and very close to night life. Staff were warm, accommodating, polite and extremely helpful! The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. Check in/out was seamless. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat and highly recommend.
Excellent place, classy and elegant hotel in the heart of Rome close to the Colosseum yet not far to walk to other iconic places like the Spanish stairs or Fontana di Trevi. Very clean, staff extremely helpful.
Very expensive hotel, only good thing is the view only to be seen at their over rated restaurant. We went to Rome for a celebration with friends and stayed there for teo nights, the celebration night was to be in the restaurant, that do not offer any alternatives but their “Michelin experience” , prices are only available when you get to the restaurant, about 250-300 per person… we ended up leaving and having dinner elsewhere, they still charged us a fine for leaving… long story short I would never ever ever go back nor recommend it to anyone, save your money and go to an authentic Italian restaurant in stead. The keys do not work properly, the towel warmer dis mot work, the elevator is ridiculous, and there is an extra charge for all… BAD BAD BAD experience…
This boutique hotel has an amazing view, a great location, delicious food and creative cocktails. Rome was the final leg of our trip and this location kept the romantic feel of Italy alive even amongst the busy streets around us. Stay for the unique vibe and outstanding food/drink service.
Palm Suites was perfect for our stay in Rome. The courtyard, reception and suite itself felt tranquil and inviting after a busy day touring the city. The beds were comfy, wifi and airconditioning worked a treat and we liked the kitchen area for teas, coffees etc. The staff were friendly and helpful. We ate breakfast at Aroma a few days which was lovely but expensive - an alternative is Caffe Roma on the corner for coffees, pastries etc. The location is excellent - within ten minutes walk of the main attractions and right next to the Metro, bars, restaurants etc.
