"Palazzo Manfredi is a magnificent historic villa that today serves as five-star hotel offering the tradition and warm hospitality of the Counts Manfredi. Every detail is a family jewel, from the spectacular view of the Colosseum, to the courtesy of our staff, the classic and contemporary elegance of the decor, and our sophisticated restaurant on one of Rome's most romantic terraces. History is on our doorstep, but true luxury is being part of a great family's history."

We had a wonderful time at this amazing hotel. The staff, lead by Matteo Moretti, are top notch. The new addition to the hotel takes an already special place to another level, and The Court is a wonderful place for drinks and relaxing after a long day of touring. This is our second stay at the Manfredi and we will stay here again for future visits to Rome. The location is ideal as it is literally across the street from the Colosseum and the ancient Roman ruins. We highly recommend this wonderful luxury hotel!!!

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Palazzo Manfredi during our honeymoon and we had a wonderful experience. We highly recommend booking the private, in-room four-course dinner, which made our first night at the hotel so special. The chef is extremely talented and the staff are incredibly kind. We plan to stay here again - hopefully soon!

Amazing experience as a whole. The room was as descrived and on arrival we found a cold bottle of prosecco waiting for us. Nice surprise! The view was simply beautiful (from the room, the terrace and the bar). The staff is polite and friendly, and they go out of their way to help. Ofcourse you expect to get something for the price you are paying, but it was certainly worth while.

We stayed at this hotel from the 23/7 2021 to 26/7 2021, after that we changed hotel. My birthday is the 23/7, so this was so traumatizing. On our first day of arrival we went out for shopping and had the largest Dior shopping bag with us back to the hotel. This was later confirmed by the hotel staff that they knew of it, and also the hotel manager, as he's seen it on their video security. We left our shopping bag at our hotel room to visit their restaurant "Aroma", we won't review our experience there, because our main focus is what happened with our shopping bag. Upon returning to our room, the Dior shopping bag was gone and we contacted the hotel reception to find out if they knew anything. It turned out that someone from their cleaning staff had decided to take the shopping bag (with the shopping items in it, receipt, bag, medicine that we had stored in it and other things), they tried to give us the excuse that the bag was empty. It was definitely not empty whatsoever. Even if it would have been, it's quite strange to steal this big bag regardless. After talking with the staff and the hotel manager, we think this is something they've done before. They didn't care much about us having things stolen from the room, nor did they bother to reimburse us. Instead we had to visit a police station and report this. Time that went away from our vacation. Not only that, but we didn't get to meet the hotel manager until our last morning at the hotel. He only gave us one day off on our hotel charges and claimed we would get our money back (quite a lot) for our items through their insurance company. Have not heard a thing on that so far, and it's been a week now. We wouldn't recommend this hotel if you have expensive items or if you dislike having your belongings stolen from you. Basically, no one should stay at this hotel. Would this have been on my watch, I would've first of all reimbursed the whole cost at the hotel, also reimbursed the value of everything that was (confirmed) stolen by the hotel staff; or as the hotel manager and staff said "the bag was empty" (no it was not!). Also finally offered us to stay there the remainder of our vacation for free. For us this is insane and we are underwhelmed at the way this was "taken care of" for us (read: it was NOT taken care of, we are NOT reimbursed yet and we had to pay for our stay except for one night). Crazy. -- Except for this, here's a couple of other things: - The new hotel we stayed at for another 3 days was great, and it's absurd we had to extend our vacation to actually get a vacation where we felt safe and happy at - We booked the so-called "Mercedes luxury pick up", it was a large van, nothing luxury about it. We also had to walk a long distance at the airport in the heat. We had the same when we later booked an uber back to the airport, but for half the price. - They never remembered my girlfriends gluten intolerance, so we had to keep reminding them at dinner once and breakfast every day - They kept calling our room regarding bookings of their bar, etc, even though we've went to the reception to cancel this and also called them several times. Late calls almost at night - Too much staff for the small hotel, and a big part of the staff barely speak any English and/or is not very pleasant/kind or have service feeling - Their bar was underwhelming in terms of cocktails (taste-wise), and way too many options - We were unable to sleep due to their bar being open late and we had loud music in our room. We recommend installing triple windows (not double as you've done, not enough).

Due to Covid we booked a short stay package (1night) at Palazzo Manfredi which included a 4course dinner and breakfast + the dinner at Aroma restaurant: all plates were excellent and also the service was great! I’ll definitely come back to the restaurant + view: even if you book a normal room you have Colosseum view which leaves you speechless We really enjoyed our stay but there was one big flaw: the breakfast. Unfortunately due to Covid there was no buffet but only à la carte service, which is no problem if the staff knows how to do their job! We had to ask for everything!!!! (Even to take away the dirty dishes) Also i think the food was not on a five star hotel level (only toasted sandwich bread, no fish, small selection off cheese and sweets, only orange juice).
