To sleep under the watchful eye of Il Colosseo was just ridiculously amazing. The rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful. The restaurant was stellar. There was some street noise but nothing that an experienced traveller with earplugs can't...More
We stayed here for two nights. The rooms are nice enough but it is very noisy, with trams going by all night and traffic noise, which during our stay included lots of car horns all night as people celebrated Roma beating Barcelona - not the...More
We stayed at the Hotel in a Suite, with two connected rooms. The Suite overlooked the Colosseum. The day and evening views are exceptional. This is a boutique hotel and houses a 1 Star Michelin restaurant. The rooms are comfortable, the location is a good...More

Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighbourhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighbourhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at
Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.

Yes, you can, but you are not able to sit at the tables overlooking the Collesium. You will be shown to a lovely table in the bar, which doesn’t directly overlook the fantastic view, but it’s still very nice.
