I stayed in this hotel on a previous trip to Rome 2 years ago and wasnt disappointed when we returned. The hotel is in a brilliant location, we found all the attractions in Rome to be within walking distance of the hotel.. The rooms are really clean and modern and perfect to relax in after a day walking around the...

We stayed here for two nights at the end of our Italian holiday. The rooms were ultra clean, spacious, and modern. We were pleasantly surprised at how large our room was and that we had a massive bathtub. The breakfast buffet was great with lots of fresh fruit and vegetables plus traditional items and was definitely worth the 10 euro....

We booked this hotel for 3 nights for our first trip to Rome. We couldn't of been happier with our choice. The hotel was in a good location for sight-seeing, only a 10 minute walk to the Colosseum, 10 mins from the Trevi Fountain, and about 15 mins to the Pantheon. It was also just around the corner from the...

I spend over 100 nights per year in hotels all over the globe. That being said this is the first time i felt compelled to write a review Because hotels are my second home, I prefer to get the best room in the best hotel in town. This was the first hotel we stayed in on a 15 day trip to Italy. I booked it based upon the reviews here on TripAdvisor. Overall all this is a very good hotel. If you're a first time traveler to Europe, you should know that the beds are firm...the only negative thing about our room is our bed was comprised...

The hotel was clean and felt new with minimal essentials and fuss free services. Staff were friendly and the wifi was working well. Very near the roma termini and republic stations and vicinity of most tour agencies in roma. Also just off the via nazionale with buses that were 'walking savers' to major attractions. Despite being on a second floor,...

We stayed here for three nights and wanted a hotel with a good location so we were able to access all the sites easily by foot if possible. The rooms are slightly small, however, this was not a problem for us as we did not plan on spending much time in the hotel. I found the beds slightly uncomfy -...

After arriving in Rome late at night and being locked out of the B&B we had booked, my partner and I stumbled across iQ Hotel Roma and were delighted with our stay! Firstly, the hotel staff were exceptional. When they saw the distressed look on our faces they upgraded us to a huge suite equipt with a king bed, a...

Let's focus on the +ve first. The room my hubby and I paid for was really spacious and clean. The toilet was great. I loved most was their breakfast! Weird, but only their female staff were all smiles and friendly which made our 1 night stay more welcoming. We used chauffeur and taxi during the 2 days so cannot comment...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

IQ is a 4-star hotel, with a twist! Located in downtown Rome, just a short 15 minute walk from the Trevi Fountain or the Colosseum and with Repubblica metro station just 200 metres away, hotels don't get much central than this. IQ guests enjoy free Wi-Fi connection throughout the hotel, a lovely terrace where to unwind overlooking the Opera House, and free access to our gym and sauna. We believe in tailor-made hospitality, so there are vending machines in virtually every floor, where you can buy yourself a bottle of wine, a pack of crisps, a tooth-brush or even an umbrella (not that you'll need it often!), All at very competitive prices.
