A Via Dei Giubbonari 23 is not for everyone, but if you appreciate being immersed in the essense that is Rome, this is the place to stay. We made reservations for both the beginning, and the end of our trip to Italy, and so had different experiences based on the location of the room. Both of them were good. The...

I booked two single rooms with bath for my sister and myself and got confirmation that we could get them. However, on arrival it turned out that what we got was one double room with an adjoining single room which gave access to the bathroom. This single room was furnished with a bed and a non-working refrigerator - and that...

This is a quaint little place, affordably priced for Rome, and really conveniently located--a nice farmers market nearby, within walking distance to many sights, including the coliseum. Lucia, our host, was delightful, making us feel very welcome and offering plenty of helpful tips. The breakfast is quite basic and if you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs to block out sounds...

We stayed a couple of days during July 2014. The view was magical, looking out at the ruins of Pompeii theatre. We had arrived late and missed our meeting with the main office of the B & B. We had called the number provided and the manager promptly meet us and took us to the place. He was very knowledge...

Our stay at A via dei Giubbonari 23 was great. The hosts were amazing and were helpful. We had a place with 2 rooms and had all the equipments for a good stay. It was very close to different attractions and everything was reachable by a short walk.

It is quite different to what we expect from bed and breakfast in the US; but overall it is centrally located and it was good value compare to hotels in Rome. Friendly staff that also speaks English and Spanish. The bed and linens were clean, the room itself could've use a little dusting; but it was ok. What was not...

We stayed two nights at this Giubbonari guest house and loved the location (between the Vatican and the Colosseum). The housekeeper who served us a simple breakfast (coffee and packaged pastries) was incredibly kind and friendly.
