We stayed at giubbonari in may 2013 and liked it so much we stayed again in may 2014. It is so close to so much and the price is right for us. Maria is so sweet and pleasant. You should call ahead upon your arrival so someone is there to let you in. We had a larger room this time...

We stayed during four days. When we arrived we were waiting for twenty minutes before they opened the door. Besides we had to phone them to open. Our room wasn't there, we had to walk around 500 meters carry on the baggage. During our second day the electricity didn't work, so they made us to change the room into other...

this place was really great! the location is very central and easy to get around, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast was very nice and homey. the only reason i didnt give it a perfect score is that it was a bit noisy out on the street, so not good for people who are sensitive to noise.

Great location to travel Rome by foot. Clean rooms and very efficient air conditioning. Biggest problem is that when we arrived in Rome we couldn't check in. We emailed our arrival time as asked and then called an hour before we arrived (again, as asked). No one answered the phone. Another guest let us in the bed and breakfast and...

When we arrived, we walked past the premises several times due to the entrance being a battered old graffiti covered door into a small hallway. There is no reception just some buzzers on the wall to some flats. After panicking and wondering where we were we noticed one of the buzzers said bed and breakfast. A women eventually answered the...

It looked promising, The office sent us a car to pick us from the AP at the regular rate. We arrived to the place @ midnightand got 2 rooms. The rooms are ok but you can hear the street as it's in your room. The location is great, 200m from Campo De' Fiori, but there are alot of groups waking...

We booked on via dei guibbonari but instead were located in an independent apartment with a direct view to Largo di Torre Argentina. I was happy with the location, being alone, little kitchen, comfortable double bed, convenient bathroom with hair dryer etc - however, the second bed was very uncomfortable, the apartment was noisy because it was on a busy...

Giubbonari 23 was a perfect location for my visit to Rome. It is located right in the heart of the city within walking distance of many shops, restaurants, and historical sights. The room was large enough for two, the shared kitchen made it feel as if it was your apartment, and everything was in good working condition with an overall...

Such fond memories - funky place with a big door and a quirky, tiny, delightful elevator, though I preferred the stairs to work off pasta and gelato. Make sure to call ahead, possible wait to be let in, but we expected that since we researched. Run by delightful people. Room was nice and big, bathroom and shower tiny. Got the...

Old apartment transformed into a B&B. Had a small basic room with a bathroom. Sheets and towels are provided and changed every 3 days. Shared a living room/kitchen with 3 other pairs with stoves, oven and fridge available. A housekeeper served breakfast (white bread, jam, nutella, pastries, tea, coffee) every morning from 8 to 10. We didn't like much of...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
