My husband and I were at Relais Conte Di Cavour de Luxe from 31st October to 4th November and had a great stay. It is in a really good location, less than 5 minutes from Termini train/bus station and within walking distance of all attractions, though we did get the metro to the Vatican Museums. We received a really warm... More

We spent a week in Rome, staying at Relais Conte di Cavour. It's a good location, close to Termini Station but also to tourist attractions. The room was elegant and clean, welcoming hosts. There are many good restaurants around. Very good! Liviu and Iulia, Romania.

I picked this B&B for its convenient location near the train/bus station, but what sets it apart for me is the very well appointed room I stayed in and the kind and generous hospitality of the hostess/owner, Consuelo. For someone like me unfamiliar with Rome, her detailed introduction to quality restaurants nearby and to the bus/Metro system were invaluable. She... More

Excellent in all respects : location, price, amenities, quiet , comfortable room. Above all, Consuelo and mum Rita delightful and incredibly informative hosts - city maps, restaurant recommendations and reservations ( all top class ), local information always avaiolable. Simply could not have found a better place to stay for our week in Rome.

The hotel is central in Rome and has both the Termini and Metro nearby. Splendid host and facilities make one welcome as a home from home in this very busy and entertaining city. You can pay a little extra for continental breakfast, and know that your building and rooms are well secure in the heart of the city. A lift... More

I rarely right reviews on Trip advisor ;only when the hotel is too good or too bad ! But In this case for this B&B it was extremely above my expectations . Don't be fooled by the old building from the outside but once you enter the apartment it is so nice , clean , room is well decorated ,... More

Wonderful B&B in the heart of Rome. The location is perfect for transport links (10 mins walk to Termini) and night time fun (the area of Monti is 15 mins walk and full of great bars and eateries). I can't imagine anywhere is quiet in Rome, but this feels like a little haven from the hussle and bussle. Our room... More

We stayed here 4 nights. easy to find from Termini. Clean and good size rooms. Good position for tourists close to Termini you can walk to Colosseum and some other places. Friendly staff. Tv in rooms. Big bathroom. Wifi not reaching out to our room (707). Breakfast was not our favourite.

Overall, the place isnt bad. We were greeted by a woman and her mother. They were really nice and showed us everything. The room layout is kind of small - it was the wife and I with our 2 suitcases, and we barely had any room to walk once we sat them down. The bedroom area itself is decent, and... More

Thanks again for your stay and we hope to welcome you again, perhaps in a larger Executive. Please note that it is the first time in many years that a guest complains about the light sensor that turns on only when you pass; however, the technician came and solved everything decreasing the timer and also we now have a router... As others have said, this B&B is perfectly located for restaurants, attractions and transport (buses, metro etc). We stayed in a large room, with a lovely en-suite bathroom - toiletries were replenished daily. Fridge in the room was useful when buying a beer or two from the shops and each day was topped up with 2 bottles of water. Room... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
