Alma de Roma is a hidden but a cosy place to stay in Rome. The biggest convenience being its location which is close to both metro as well as bus stop.Though took some time to locate the address, the stay was comfortable.Thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality.

Very friendly staff, breakfast in terrace, air-conditioned room, decent price. Had a nice couple days and got good tips from staff. Also there is nice and cheap restaurant downstairs. Had bit of trouble finding the right door when we first came there, but it's right next to the restaurant downstairs. Would stay there again!

Good hospitality and good room. Reasonably good breakfast, for the price. Only that one flight of stairs has to be climbed. The owner helped us to carry one heavy bag up, they also stored our luggage until the evening when we checked out in the morning. Walkable from Roma Termini station.

Friendly staff at this B&B, and we especially like the helpful Filipino guy i/c of breakfast. The roof terrace is a cosy area which you can enter anytime. It's also where breakfast is served. While the B&B is located within walking distance of Roma Termini station, it is not so easy to find even when you are on the Via...

First of all the owners; Andrea and Anna Maria were so accomodating and friendly. They both had their eyes on every detail. The location was perfect. It was minutes to the Termini, to buses for tours, to trains for day trips. The courtyard terrace was a sanctuary, very beautiful and quiet after a hectic touring morning and afternoon. I highly...

Excellent because the location is ideal , near Termini . But the owners and their staff deserve a compliment. Very warm welcome and during the stay, we also felt really welcome . Room was neat and clean and did fine. The room is as discribed. Also the free wifi worked fine. The terrace is definitely a plus. Nice place to...

Very cute and friendly B&B. Love the Terrance! The staff was absolutely amazing. The Pilipino employee was the best! He was always helpful and had a smile on his face. The owner was awesome too. The taxi driver stole my phone and the owner tried to help me call the taxi company a couple of times.

Stayed here for 5 nights and it was terrific. Very near the Termini so great for transport around the city and from the airport. Safe and secure. Our room was lovely, great nights sleep, big enough bathroom and plenty of room to spread out our travel junk. Breakfast each morning was simple but enough, served on the lovely roof top...

What a delightful B & B Alma de Roma was to stay. Quiet, and very clean. Andrea & staff were welcoming & helpful, with tips on places to see, how to get there and where to eat. Close to Roma Termini. The Roof Top Terrace was a wonderful place to relax at night. The Alma de Roma Terrace club was...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
