We arrived at the hotel a bit too early and no one was there. The receptionist arrived a half an hour later than the advertised check-in time, but she was super sweet when we met her and was very flexible. We were checking out early and were offered to go to the bar across the street to still receive breakfast. The room was great, had a large bathroom and balcony.

This place has a very friendly service, comfortable rooms and serves you breakfast in bed at your desired time. it may not be placed in the prettiest of neighbourhoods but is within walking distance of the main streets and also near the Tiburtina train station and bus station. It is a great place to stay a view nights in order to visit the Beautiful cite of Rome

This is a comfortable B&B, no kitchen you can use, but nice big rooms, and onlt 5 minutes walk from Tiburtina Station and bus station. We stay here if we need to stop over in Rome to get an early train, bus or flight from Fiumicino. The train from Tiburtina to Fiumicino takes 50 mins and costs 8 euros - that from Termini takes 40 ins but costs 14 euros.

We arrived at Tirbutina station at 19:30 and without view through Google Map Street view, we wouldn't have found it. It is in a non-descript building with a small sign above the door bells for the residence. We had to call even though we didn't have an international plan to contact the owner to come and let us in. He was there pretty quick and brought us up to the 5th floor in a very tiny elevator. Once on the floor, we entered a door which lead to a small cluster of rooms. Very friendly however when we went to pay, we were told the tax could not be put on the credit card and had to be paid in cash (?). This was not what we had to do in the past. Beds were firm, very, very firm. Pillows were not comfortable and there were just enough pillows for one per person. Breakfast the next morning came and the coffee was cold. Not hot at all.. The pastry croissant was soft and tasty... We need to go out to get more coffee. The bathroom was good, adequate however there was 3 of us however the second person taking a shower lost hot water. For a quick overnight with quick access to the train station, it was adequate. We would explore other options the next time.

I had a wonderful trip to Roma as I spent good quality time there with my family. The main reason behind it is the comfortable stay that we had at Alba Domus B&B. The host Mr. Emanuele and the concierge Ms. Donatella were very accommodating to all our requests. Especially my reservation had some unique requirements like early morning check-in, baggage locker etc., as I understood (checking other B&Bs) that usually B&B host do not entertain such requests. But Mr. Emanuele was very comforting and accepted to all of it, and he waited at the wee morning hours (05:00 hrs) to welcome us. I would definitely recommend this B&B to all my friends traveling to Roma.
