Absolutely spot on! Max (the manager) looked after our group from the point of booking through to the moment of departure. This was inclusive of organising us a transfer from the airport to the door (our plane was several hours late and despite this there was no problem!), through to recommending places to visit and the best restaurants. He kindly... More

We stayed there for 4 nights. It is more like a home than a hotel. In addition to the rooms there is a common kitchen with a big dining table, a coffee machine, a refrigerator, and a dish washer. Since it is in a residential area, there are food stores in the same building and each morning we bought excellent... More

My husband and I stayed at the Nina Casetta for 3 nights. Valentina, the owner, was so helpful and very accommodating. Upon arrival she gave us a tour of the well equipped apartment and then went on to give us a map of Rome and point out some recommended places to eat and visit, they were good recommendations too! The... More

The place and the host Valentina were just too good. The rooms are extremely well maintained and tastefully done. The location is also good as it is right in the heart of Trastevere with transportation and eating out options all around. Though we were tourists, we liked the fact this area is not very touristy and could see and feel... More

We were a group of 5 couples with children travelling to Rome for the Marathon and decided to sleep here due to location (city centre and next to the start of the Marathon) and number of rooms, but we found the perfect hotel for our needs. Big, clean, each room with its new complete toilet, and as we rented the... More

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was the perfect base in which to explore Rome. From the outside it doesn't seem very impressive, but once you step inside it is a beautiful and calm place to stay - a hidden gem! The rooms were styled well and were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Great added extra that wifi... More

Anna and Valentina were just wonderful to work with. Anna confirmed our upcoming reservations and tried to help us locate our luggage. They offered very helpful information and we appreciated the serenity of our stay here. Grazie Mille!

Although this location is a bit of a walk to the main attractions in Rome, it is so nice to stay away from the touristy hustle and bustle. The Trastevere neighborhood is filled with off-the-grid places that are fabulous to stumble upon in the wide streets. It was quiet relative to center city, and although we were street-side which was... More

Nice place, very clean, with an interesting decoration. The owner, Valentina, was helpful and really nice. Good restaurants and main Rome’s attractions are situated at walking distance. Street rooms are a little bit noisy, and because of the carpet in the bathroom, there is a slight smell. But the owner decided to change it in November 2013. The breakfast is... More

Stayed here in June and it is in a great location very close to lots of restaurants and bars! Also walking distance to all the major sites. Valentina the manager was lovely. Staying in Trastevere

Neighbourhood Profile
Trastevere
Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
