While we didn't have a chance to take advantage of the breakfasts included, this B&B more than lived up to our expectations. Daniele, Livio & Simona were so very friendly and helpful - no one could ask for more. We had run out of Euros and Daniele seemed to sense that we were at the curb and needing his help...

I found A Peace of Rome on Trip Advisor and it not only lived up to my expectations, it exceeded them. My husband and I stayed at A Peace of Rome for 5 nights on our honeymoon, right at the end of our 6 week trip around Europe. The rooms are everything you could want; spacious, newly fitted out with...

The staff were so accommodating with us- when our flights were delayed they came in later to check us in. Our bags also failed to arrive and so they helped us with tracking them down (which was a huge help since neither of us speak Italian). The b&b is close to a large shopping strip and only a few blocks...

Wife and I stayed in June 2011. What a great place to stay, wonderful amenities and even better people. Daniele, Livio and Simona were so helpful, it was like dealing with your long lost cousins, nothing was too much. It has been said numerous times by others, but this part of Rome is terrific, much friendlier than most and much...

We stayed here for 3 nights in early Sept and had a very enjoyable stay. Our room was huge and really nice, and came equipped with a big flat screen satellite TV. The staff were all very friendly and very helpful, and gave us lots of good recommendations for what to see and where to eat. One of the best...

We (family of 4 adults) stayed here in mid-August 2011 and have absolutely no complaints, only praise. We received a warm greeting, a helpful map and information about bus routes, restaurants (including those open in August) and the best places for coffee/pastries. The rooms were spotless, AC was wonderful in hot August, and the wireless worked. The airport pickup and...

We stayed at A Peace of Rome twice during our March trip to Italy and were totally impressed by Simona, Livio, and Daniele. They couldn't have been nicer or more helpful about anything we needed and made each stay a delight. Our room was kept immaculately clean, and the in-room refrigerator, hotpot, and supplies for making tea were most welcome...

I picked this hotel due to the reviews on tripadvidor & I can't have been more delighted with it. The airport pick up was arranged without any fuss - we really enjoyed the drive in, getting to see many sights on the way. The hotel was in an excellent area, everything walkable yet it was quiet and peaceful. The owner...

Family holiday to Rome - first trip. Found "A Peace of Rome" by accident when booking, but so glad we did. From booking, to leading up to the holiday, upon arrival and during our stay, Daniele and particularly Simona certainly made our visit "easy". Upon arrival, Daniele took us through where to go, where not to go, when to go,...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
