Maribel is in the Prati district, very close to the Vatican, Castel St. Angelo and other tourist attractions. It is located in a larger building and has three rooms available. The entrance is non-descript - a very large, old wood door which leads to the courtyard. One needs four keys to enter. One to enter the courtyard, one to enter...

... this is the perfect place to stay. Located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of all the "must see's". The staff is service minded and super-friendly. Well worth the price. We will definitely stay here when we return to Rome

Rome was our first stop on our 6 week trip & we loved our stay at Maribell! After 24hr of travel, we arrived at Maribell & realised our booking was for the following night (my fault) - tired & stressed at 10pm, Danielle was so wonderful & despite being booked out, found somewhere for us to stay that night which...

This is the second time I have stayed at Maribell. Ownership has changed but it's every bit as good as before. Our room was lovely and spacious and the air con was great - really quiet but effective. The owners were really helpful, gave us a map and some great restaurant recommendations. The location is great, you can easily walk...

Me and my girlfriend really enjoyed our stay at this B&B. Danielle, Marina's brother, was very friendly, and genuinely interested in helping us find the best local restaurants, places to visit, pre-ordering tickets etc. He had just ordered a new coffee machine, which made really good coffee. We stayed in the room with an external bathroom, because we wanted a...

We stayed for one night after a three week trip in Italy. The room was a reasonable size for the price, and well maintained. Marina was very helpful and friendly, and went out of her way to assist us. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. Whilst there is double glazing and air conditioning, we did need to use ear plugs to...

A friend and I spent eight days over New Year’s in this clean and friendly B&B in a neighbourhood within walking distance of the major sights. At the end of busy days, it was nice to make our way back “home” to a quieter place, though one with good restaurants and a bustling shopping street nearby. Marina, our host, was...

This is a nice, clean little bed and breakfast in a great location in Rome. Near everything (walking distance), but in a part of the city with real people in it, not just tourists. We were in the room with the bathroom (there's also a room with a separate bathroom). Both room and bathroom are small but adequate. Breakfast is...

We started travelling again hence the late review. we were quite worried about our stay in Rome as it was our first visit there. Once we touched base with marina, her first email made us feel comfortable already. She always had a smile, told us the right places to visit and the times. helped us with airport transfers. everything. The...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
