St. Peter Guest House is located 5 min walking distance from the Vatican. The staff is very nice, kind, friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean comfortable and quiet. I liked the access to the drinks and snacks. I felt at home immediately. will definitively stay there again.

Located in Vatican City, St Peter Guest House is only 5 minutes walk from the Vatican and its museums. The Metro and buses are practically just outside the door. The rooms although a bit small are beautifully modern with all the facilities. Although located in a busy street, the rooms are very quiet and you cannot hear the outside buzz...

This is a fantastic place to stay if you are visiting Rome. It is only a few hundred metres from St. Peter's square and Vatican museums. The rooms and en-suites are very clean and recently decorated to a very high standard. They are exactly as in photos presented. Towels changed daily and TV has some international stations. We had a wonderful time in Rome. This guest house is located in an old building but surprisingly new design and comfortable accommodations. we were in 2 couples and the open kitchen made us feel at home. Parking can be an issue. We were lucky to find one spot at free public parking lot but we were told that is...

Lovely friendly staff who gave very useful tips on where to go. Nothing was too much. Fab location, 5 walk to the Vatican and a few meters away from Metro line. Comfy, clean and stylish rooms. Breakfast was lovely: cakes, croissants, cereals, cheese and ham. They would also do toast, bacon and eggs. You could help yourself to the snacks...

I went to Florence last week for the International Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE), and given that I was already in Italy, I grabbed the opportunity and decided to do a short 3-day side trip to the Vatican and Rome (primarily to see the Pope and attend his Wednesday general audience). Considering that this was my very first time in...

5 minute walk from St Peters Square. 1 minute from Ottaviano subway. Attentive staff. Comfortable and stylish rooms. Communal kitchen and eating area which actually works well. Elisabetta is such a beautiful caring person. We loved this place. It was our 25th wedding anniversary. The staff, especially Elisabetta, couldn't do enough. Cards, wine, fresh fruit daily. It works out about...

We spent two nights, during Holy Week (such a busy time here) in this charming, meticulously clean B&B style guesthouse. We are visiting Italy for the first to visit our daughter who is studying in Rome for the semester. What drew us to St. Peter Guest House is that it is in the building in which our daughter is living...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.

“All rooms are great, we chose one in the rear at our daughter's advice as she lives in the building in a front facing room. Though not a busy street, she thought we'd enjoy the quiet in the rear, overlooking the courtyard, which wasn't lavish ... actually very simple as the rest of the building are upscale homes, and balconies are used for drying clothes as dryers are unheard of in Italy.”
