Very good hotel and the breakfast was really good too! In such a good spot for the colloseum and other places! The receptionist was very helpful and pleasant.
Only downside was the damp smell in the room.
Hotel de Rome is literally a hidden gem so close to the Coloseum. After checking in at the main lobby you are led round to another door. The room was delightful with an upstairs mezzanine bath! Fabulous decor. Breakfast was at the Spanish restaurant below,...More

Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighbourhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighbourhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at
Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.

My French is minimal. I am happy to help but need a bit more to go on. If I think what you're saying is correct. Yes we did have breakfast in the sun on the roof 3 mornings in a row. It was great - and yes I really did go to this hotel! I'm not sure where you ate but we were on the roof terrace. I can provide a receipt if you like.
