Spent a couple nights there on business. As mentioned in other reviews the location is great - near the major sights. I must have been a bit unlucky as my room was small and unfortunately opened onto the main road which turned out to be a nightmare. I practically felt like I was sleeping on the sidewalk. Extremely noisy. However...

This was a great hotel with very friendly staff. Room was large with bedroom and living room with pull out coach. Bathroom was small but did the job. Great location, right by the Via Nationale, which is a great shopping district and has great restaurants nearby. Pricey if your on a budget but worth the stay. Breakfast was great for...

My wife and I stayed at the Traiano for five days last week. I was just delighted about the quality, given the price we paid. I think we got the best room in the hotel (by accident): room 211. It's fairly big and the only room with a big, walk out balcony. We faced a busy street but the sound-proofing...

I stayed at the Hotel Traiano for 2 nights in October and booked it before I read any reviews so I was a bit anxious about the negative reviews. As expected, the rooms where small and room furnishings are not of 4 star standard. The location was perfect as the Trajan Column and Roman Forum is within just a few...

When we arrived we were shown to our room which was not too bad a size, but not as big as others in the hotel. Within the first hour we found that the toilet was leaking and that ants were entering the room via what appeared to be a gap in the wall from outside. We complained to the manager...

When I looked at other reviews, I wondered if I had made the right choice. Thankfully I was right! The location was brilliant and was really close to a lot of the main tourist areas. The roads around the hotel were a bit noisy but what do you expect in the middle of a large city. The rooms were very...

I stayed in the Traiano with my girlfreind for 3 nights at the end of March. The hotel is in a great location, just moments from Traian's column and the Forum. A maximum 10 min walk to the Collesum and about the same to the Trevi fountain. However, it is not a four star hotel. The decor dated and tired....

Great Hotel in the perfect place! The Hotel is located in the perfect spot, between Trevi fountain (5 min walking) and colosseum (5 min walking), right in front of the roman forum. The rooms are really nice, very clean and with a fantastic view. The breakfast room is terrific and the food is good,if you don't like the machine coffe or...

This hotel was rated a 4 star by nycerome.com but it was more like a 1 star. We had a quad room with 3 lumpy twins and 1 cot with a deep groove in the middle! The carpeting was ancient and the wallpaper was awful. The tub leaked buckets of water and the folding shower doors were not only cracked...

After a beautiful stay in Sicily over the Christmas, my wife and I and our 11 month old baby boy headed for a few days in Rome. At the airport the incredibly inneficient tourist information desk encouraged us to book into this hotel. Aside from a friendly greeting on arrival this was our worst hotel experience ever. The room was...

Staying in Trevi

Neighbourhood Profile
Trevi
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighbourhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
