First of all.....it's not a 4 star hotel, maybe it was in the 70:ies and 80:ies! It's a bit worn out and would need a renovation! I would give this hotel -3 at the moment! But, it's clean, big rooms and a good location! Fairly good beds! Very spacious bathroom! (Room 314) The breakfast is more than you expect in...

Good value but small rooms. Clean, functional and excellent location for exploring Rome. Transport links are very good, plenty of places to eat and drink. Breakfast is good as long as you are not looking for a full English which i am not. Bread, cheese, sliced meats, cereal, juice and coffee. Excellent choice for families or couples.

Took 5 nights here in late Feb 2017. On arrival check in was efficient, provided with room key and off we went. Room on first appearance seemed typical, clean and fairly well appointed. As we unpacked we had to ask for additional cat hangers - NO - an iron to press a few shirts - NO - then we open...

Me and my friends loved staying here. The location is perfect to visit rome and it is near the pope. Breakfast was delicious and there was plenty to eat. The only thing we did not like was that the room was too tiny and we couldnt move around. And that the bathroom smelled very bad. The wi fi was very...

This hotel is just around the corner from the Vatican. So it has a pretty good location. The breakfast is ok, you can get as much food as you like and they will make lattes, cappuccinos, etc if you ask. The rooms are pretty dated but comfortable to sleep in. There is no bar to have drinks. The staff were...

The staff made this hotel, the girls on reception helped locate lost luggage for us, gave us information on public transport and were always polite and welcoming, the hotel itself is a bit dated but clean and ideally located. The morning coffee could be improved but if you ask one of the servers they will made a fairly ok cup,...

Don't except any luxury what hotels are concerned in Rome especially close to great sights... Well this hotel is really one of the biggest dumps I have seen in a long time - supposed to be 4star hotel - well, one star is already exaggerating. The rooms are cold and dirty and nothing really works - breakfast is ok but...

The location of the hotel is walking distance from the Vatican, the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, and Piazza Navona. It's an ideal location and a great price for the location as well. The hotel is a bit old and outdated, but the rooms were spacious. The shower was a bit old and clogged, but manageable. The breakfast was average,...

Staff: Super nice and helpful, the hotel very close to the Vatican, shopping area, restaurants, bank, bus stops and within walking distance to the metro. I like that the main door is locked 24hrs a day and can only be accessed by front desk buzzing you in. Although it is very safe to walk around the neighborhood even late at...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
