The hotel dies not look like it does in tbe picture. Don't think it ever did. The room was clean initially but other than making the bed, they don't know how to use a vacuum. The walls had holes in them and the place was in general disrepair. The breakfast was very good. I have to tell the good with...

The hotel was very central. Be prepared to do a lot of walking, we walked over 14km in one day! The hotel itself was in need of decoration and bed linen is in dire and needs replacing. The drains.........They use flexi hose, the same type as you have on a tumble dryer. Unfortunately this means that under the sink for...

This hotel is a dump. Nothing grand or Olympic about this dive. The shower was the smallest I have ever seen. We are small slender people and we had to walk in sideways to shower. The bed was so hard that for three days my side hurt until I got used to the hardness. No hot water for showers. The...

This hotel is really well-situated- minutes from the Vatican, Castel St Angelo and the river. We were able to walk to pretty much all the major tourist attractions from this base. There are also some great restaurants down nearby side streets. However, the hotel itself was disappointing. In summary, the good points were: clean rooms, friendly and helpful reception staff...

The hotel gives the impression of being at the end of a busy season rather than at the beginning. The lift seemed to have a mind of its own which encouraged you to use the stairs. However the beds were comfy. Air con excellent. Breakfast had good selection. Staff in reception and at breakfast were friendly and efficient. It's located...

First of all.....it's not a 4 star hotel, maybe it was in the 70:ies and 80:ies! It's a bit worn out and would need a renovation! I would give this hotel -3 at the moment! But, it's clean, big rooms and a good location! Fairly good beds! Very spacious bathroom! (Room 314) The breakfast is more than you expect in...

Good value but small rooms. Clean, functional and excellent location for exploring Rome. Transport links are very good, plenty of places to eat and drink. Breakfast is good as long as you are not looking for a full English which i am not. Bread, cheese, sliced meats, cereal, juice and coffee. Excellent choice for families or couples.

Took 5 nights here in late Feb 2017. On arrival check in was efficient, provided with room key and off we went. Room on first appearance seemed typical, clean and fairly well appointed. As we unpacked we had to ask for additional cat hangers - NO - an iron to press a few shirts - NO - then we open...

Me and my friends loved staying here. The location is perfect to visit rome and it is near the pope. Breakfast was delicious and there was plenty to eat. The only thing we did not like was that the room was too tiny and we couldnt move around. And that the bathroom smelled very bad. The wi fi was very...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
