NH sent me from another hotel to Roma Centro. Therefor giving me additional costs for taxis as I had chosen the other hotel because of location to the office. After several questions they paid my taxi that evening, other days I paid it myself. Room was average, just good. No warm water in the evening under the shower, maybe because of the number of guests in the hotel? Breakfast was good. I think they increased prices in the bar substantially as the room information (QR code) gave much lower prices for the drinks in the bar than in reality (glass of wine 10 euro?)
The hotel is well positioned to walk to most of the tourist sites in Rome. It is in a safe community with a lot of restaurants and shops near by. The hotel is a short walk to the metro and to the SIT airport shuttle. The staff are very nice and the cleaning staff did a great job. We did not eat at the hotel we preferred to use the local restaurants and bakeries.
This is a beautiful hotel! The staff are super friendly and everything is clean and lovely. Breakfast is very varied and generous (although the coffee leaves something to be desired - I switched to tea). The real highlight for me was the gym. It's incredibly well kitted out and nice and big. I'll be coming again for sure.
Excellent location, hotel a bit outdated and needs refusrbishing. Elevators are real pain. The rest is good, staff, breakfast etc. It is very close to Vatican, Tiber, Piazza del popolo, Navona, Spanish square..
We had a wonderful time at NH Collection Roma Centro. The receptionist Mr.Danilo was very kind and helpful. The service was excellent. Mr.Francesco gently brought us the slippers and a tooth brush to our room. We found some welcome sweets as soon as we entered the room! Mr.Guanpiero helped us find a taxi when we checked out. Everyone greeted us with a big smile. The location was also perfect, we enjoyed walking to the Vatican City in the early morning..etc. All the staff was friendly and that truly made us feel at home in Rome! The breakfast was amazing, too. We highly recommend this hotel. Thank you! ❤️
We ended our Europe Trip with a stay at the NH collection Hotel, Located at very close to central station (be careful of pick pocketers), so everything was easily accessible. Hotel Quality, Rooms and safety were all top class. If there's something lacking about the Hotel would be spread of Breakfast, we felt it could have been better. They even arranged an airport drop for us to Fiumicino airport, which was very comfortable.
Rude and racist hotel staff. We went to check in and were ignored. After getting their attention, we were told to wait until 3PM for check in. After waiting about an hour, we were desperate for a shower and nap after a long flight so I went back and ask if there was early check in available. The staff then spoke in Italian and laughed at me. I got frustrated and left. There was 1 male staff who would stare at us. On our second day as we were exiting the lobby, he stared and pointed at me. I felt so uncomfortable and couldn't wait to get out of there.
I’ve stayed in several NH hotels and this one is no different. Friendly and helpful staff (spoke English and helped make restaurant reservations for me via phone calls). If it is raining, they have umbrellas you can borrow at the front desk. Best deal is that breakfast is included every day with your stay (700-1000 most days, 1200 on weekends) with a nice array of continental and Italian dishes and unlimited access to the coffee machine. Room wasn’t big , but clean and comfortable. AC/heat didn’t seem to work but I didn’t need it as it was about 40-60 degrees outside during my stay. Would stay here again
NH Collection Roma Centro is one of the best hotels in Rome and most tourists may miss it because it is off the tourists' path. It is near the Vatican and well integrated in a residential neighborhood with lots of shops and eateries close to it. The staff are very friendly and personable. This hotel is going to make a difference in how you feel about your stay in Rome. It feels like home!
The staff ignored us when we arrived. They were rude, unfriendly. Our room was not ready. The food was terrible. We ordered food while we waited for our room. It looked like vomit on a plate. We were unable to eat it. The waiter was rude and seemed upset we were wasting his time. The room was clean though. That is the only good thing I can say about this place. Horrible welcome to Rome even if you speak Italian. After the experience in the restaurant downstairs we did not eat the chef “welcome gift” and the wine they had poured out for us in our room smelled like red sewer water. We booked through Costco, but never coming back to this hotel.
