Very modern and clean hotel which is well located for business users and also for city breaks. Be mindful that the bar in the hotel reception area is not open as late as you might expect. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Will look to return later this year.

This was our second stay at the NH Roma Centro and once again we weren’t disappointed. Check-in was friendly and efficient and we were able to get into our room early as it was vacant the night before. The room, presidential suite, is spacious and has everything we needed, mini fridges are provided for your convenience as well as coffee-pod brewers. The standard of housekeeping is very high, excellent towels and linens, and extra items are easily obtained over the phone or using the in-house guest relations app. A word of caution about the presidential suite, the room has an interconnecting door in the lounge area, but the door is not in the ‘usual’ manner, it’s literally one thin door with a large gap at the bottom so there is significant noise bleed should the room next door be occupied. Breakfast is a partially assisted buffet (Covid) but it works really well, a great choice and very much in the Italian continental style, eggs and sausages are available though. The location of the hotel is perfect for piazza del Popolo and Borghese park, and as a great starting point for the Vatican and Trastevere. The area the hotel is in, Prati, is heavily residential and has a friendly and safe feeling to it, there are lots of restaurants and cool bars which seem to do a brisk trade from locals and visitors alike. Several pharmacies and a supermarket are a brief walk away. In all this hotel really is a gem, smart and efficient I think would be the best way to describe it. Stayed for two nights this week and primarily picked this place as I have stayed in other NH hotels across Europe. This particular hotel was great in that it’s away from the centre of all the tourist spots. This would be a great hotel if it were not for a few flaws. I waited my turn at reception, when my turn came, the staff was so rude he completely ignored me, instead asking a guest to my side what he could do for them. Even the other guest was shocked and inferred that it could be due to race/ethnicity. I booked a premium XL room, when I finally made it into the room it was great. However, the room was not ready when I arrived at 1pm. I was told the room would be ready at 3pm. At 3pm I was told it would be another hour. So basically you pay for a more expensive room and end up waiting half a day to freshen up and start your stay. Then I called reception and asked for an iron. The response was almost as if I had asked for a kidney. Why don’t they provide an iron in rooms? Even every budget hotel does this. Instead I was told I would have to collect a key for a laundry room. This is mad. Imagine walking through reception with a set of clothes to iron, hilarious! Then the next day my room was made by house keeping, they simply just removed the trash can. Nowhere to put your rubbish. If staying at this hotel, I would recommend the premium XL room, it’s at the side of the hotel with very little noise, good size and great bathroom. Just be aware of bad service.…

Whe stayed for 5 nights at this hotel. It felt somehow like home. We had some issues, but the staff did their utmost best to resolve these problems. Due to the staff our stay was excellent. 8/10 we would stay again with NH Clection Roma Centro. Breakfast was nice and delicious, and coronaproof.
