The hotel is always excellent, however we were disappointed by the room service menu. Not only was nothing on it remotely Italian but it could very well have been a menu in a cardiac care unit of any hospital, There are three pages of tea. Tea? What kind of person goes to Rome for tea? The worst menu ever, and...

Dear TripAdvisor Thank you for giving us the maxim score of 5/5 and for saying we are excellent I am concerned about the comment of the room service menu served from 6.30am till 11.00pm Apart from the breakfast menu we do have a selection of 8 starters (7 pastas and 1 risotto), 8 first courses, 4 soups, 8 main courses,...

Located adjacent to the US Embassy this hotel was once a place of grandeur with a wonderful marble entry and lobby, very large public areas adorned in marble and antiques, as well. The disappointment registered upon arriving in my room. For a luxury hotel the level of disrepair in the room and lack of cleanliness was quite evident. Grime and...

I have stayed there in November with a friend, our first 5 min in Rome / Hotel ruined our stay. The Reception Staff wasn't Smile, didn't even say welcome to the hotel, they didn't explain on offer the breakfast as wasn't included, The older lady i think that was a Manager didn't give any example to the receptionist. Didn't smile,...

The Hotel is in a good location, walking distance to the Spanish steps and other attractions as well as the shopping area. Importantly it is within the Aurelian walls so the taxi fare from/to the airport is fixed rate which is excellent. The Lobby was nice and the staff are OK. The Room we stayed in was big and clean...

Stayed here for a weekend in Rome in Late Jan. Situated in a quieter, posh part of the city, next door to the US Embassy. Grandi entrance and some period features. Attentive staff (a bit too attentive when it came to room service knocking on the door both mornings, perhaps our fault for not hanging out the do not disturb...

The hotel loby is very nice, a little bit classical , not modern, but relaxing . The rooms are big , relaxing beds, big windows, big restroom, however the carpet in the rooms is old and should be much better compared with the cost of stay. Food is ok, the barman is good and makes nice coctails. I redomend thia...

My husband was there for a conference and I tagged along for a sightseeing couple of days. I thought the hotel room was very comfortable and well supplied, if a little worn around the edges. I found the location a little far out, but still walkable to many of the sights. You should note that ironing boards/irons are not allowed...

The hotel is located really in an excellent location and is enormous. The rooms are very spacious, including huge bathrooms. Breakfast was good, but nothing special, variety and quality was average. Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
