Wasnt sure when I seen the hotel outside and inside. But it was actually ok. Staff were excellent and helpful. Hotel was a bit dated and staff said that as well, but we were told the hotel getting upgrade next year.

Hotel was a disappointment. We had stayed there in 2019 and came back expecting same quality. Hotel was run down and poorly maintained. Bar had been converted to high stools from comfortable armchairs and was always playing loud music enough to keep us away. Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. We will be back in Rome next year but not at this hotel!

Charming hotel once we figured out how to get to our rooms. Large room with a large bathroom. Staff was excellent bar was good and free breakfast was quite good. Would definitely stay here again. Only downside was noise from bar from loud tourists that could be heard on our first floor room.

Arrived to the hotel after a long day of travel. Complications with a 3rd party booking website gave us a temporary scare as we thought there may be nothing available. A member of the front desk team named Ubaldo was extremely helpful & kind, and they were able to accommodate us.

This hotel was everything my son and I needed and hoped for as we celebrated his graduation from med school! They accommodated our need for two beds and we loved the ability to open the window and hear the birds!! Breakfast each morning was perfect as we headed out for long days of sightseeing. We were able to get cabs easily and walked to many sites directly from the hotel!

Rocky, the receptionist, was delightful! He was friendly, personable, and gave great recommendations for food spots! We went to Charlie Vergos' Rendezvous and had the ribs, a great recommendation for a dinner spot and local eats! Rocky then suggested and gave us directions to Beale Street, which was fun to check out. He also was able to give us a room on the third floor with a view. The room was clean and modern with high ceilings. The bath was very modern. Parking is next to the hotel for $15/day. Overall we had an excellent stay and would highly recommend this hotel to others. Kudos to Rocky for making this a terrific experience! Thank you

To me a 3 star hotel. The website is misleading using old photo's(not talking about the rooms). Someone tried to modernize but in my opinion raped the whole concept! Seeing the breakfast layout on the website....I thought....YESS! Now I had one of the three breakfasts....it ALL tasted the same to me.(I went elsewhere) Italy has so many nice products....and REALLY nothing was used. The staff was very friendly and helpful!! The old light fixtures that were still there(Christal chandeliers and plafonnières)....all in WHITE led light(why not the warm kind?)....So sorry.....my feeling about this hotel was no better. The only plus was.....next to subway.....and from there on you could discover Rome. Another thing(hotel is not responsible for that....I KNOW)....Citytax.....12e/per person!!/a night....to me is daylight robbery....London,Paris,Barcelona,Amsterdam....been everywhere....taxes had to be paid....but this???? NOO!!!!(but AGAIN....not the fault of the hotel). There were no coffee facilities in the room(on every picture of the website you clearly can see there IS). For the rest....rooms look like the website. On the first sight....clean....but when you look closer....no....there was a stain of a previous occupant in the bathroom ;-)....and it seemed to be there to stay.

We spent three days in Rome last week and this hotel made our stay so perfect. The front desk people were amazingly helpful, friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay easy and comfortable. They gave us directions, suggestions, advice and made us feel very welcome! Breakfast was provided and again the staff was exceptional. Lots of food choices and very clean. Our room was good sized for a city hotel and very well stocked and clean. The location of the hotel made it easy to get around and I particularly enjoyed the park across the street and the wine bar next door! I would definitely stay here again.

The welcome was very friendly and although we arrived earlier than 14, we received our room in a few minutes. No problems about signing in. The first experience was very warm and peaceful. The hotel has a nice antique-like atmosphere and it is very clean and filled with interesting details. The toilets in the lounge were spotlessly clean. Our room was overall very clean. Air was fresh, clean sheets and a good bed. The safe was well attached and worked perfectly. The small fridge was cool enough. The bathroom was in an excellent condition! Windows open to the courtyard but it didn't bother us at all. Room was very silent! No disturbing sounds from anywhere! Like we were the only visitors. The breakfast is very good, more than basic: scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages and boiled eggs - different breads, cold-cuts, cheeses and vegetables. 2-3 kinds of cakes / sweet pies, cookies, croissants, different marmalades, both natural and flavoured yoghurts and different jams, slices of pineapple, juices, tea and different kinds of coffee from machine. The service during breakfast was better than good - used plates were taken away fast and without any hassle. About the location: nearest metro entrance is about 10 meters from the Hotel door. The walk to the Colosseum took about 10-15 minutes and it was very easy to find your way to places like Fontana di Trevi etc. We felt totally safe walking to the hotel even long after sunset. Not too close to the train station. And the park is very nice. Service was perfect and the staff at the reception and the restaurant were very kind, friendly and made us feel welcome. Overall a very pleasant stay!!

I have definitely stayed in better hotels during my travels. The Napolean is shabby and in need of a make over and in my opinion not located in the very best part of Rome BUT....what the hotel lacks in modern amenities and updated looks it certainly made up for in service and close approximity to the beautiful landmarks that Rome has to offer. In fact it was also the only hotel that had a gym (on our travels) and the rooms were slightly bigger than the other cities we had stayed in. The staff were delightful, knowledgeable and very friendly and accommodating. Shout out to Roberto on the front desk as well as the rest of the team. This was our last stop on our European visit and it was the first hotel that we walker into upon arrival where we didn't have to ask where to go to get good food. I'm addition, the subway was amazingly accessible and literally a few steps away from the hotels entrance. The Napolean is also central to many of the landmarks. Roberto also ensured that we had our wits about us from a safety perspective and warned us to be careful of pickpockets. The hotel breakfast wasn't that great but all in all, from a safety and cleanliness abd friendly staff aspect we had a lovely time bearing in mind we only used the hotel to sleep, shower and have breakfast at. The rest of the time was spent exploring this amazing city and the Napolean was delightful!
