I love the place. Rooms are charming and elegant. Nearly all have beautiful view: either to a noisy but lively via Vittorio Veneto or to the courtyards of private estates of via Liguria. Staff is always friendly, helpful and warmhearted. I like the breakfast room and the attached Terrasse. You fill light and calm there in the morning and during...

The majestic Roma is situated in an excellent location for visiting all the major tourist and shopping attractions in central Rome and is very conveniently located right by the Barberino metro station. Our check in was very attentive, Faisal was especially helpful and remained so for our entire stay. We opted for a room only rate so I cannot comment...

From the minute we arrived we was taken care of. The room was outstanding, the breakfast so much choice! Ate there one night and it was fantastic. So near the metro (2 min walk), Could not fault this hotel. The hotel verandah was wonderful. As you may 'hear' I loved it.

My wife and I stayed here on a recent visit and had a very good time. The location is perfect, close to public transportation and an easy walk to the Trevi fountain, the Pantheon and many other sites. I've seen the reviews mentioning issues with the staff, but everyone that we interacted with was friendly, efficient and quick to assist....

I stayed here for two wonderful weeks. All of the staff---bellmen, barmen, concierge, desk staff, housekeepers, restaurant staff---were gracious, kind, and went out of their way to make sure that my trip to Rome was everything it should be. They provided expert advice on tours and restaurants, troubleshooted travel plans, and really just catered to my every need as a...

Hotel lobby and room/bathroom was a little weathered and it appeared that the hotel is starting to renovate. We had great service from front desk as well as Jennifer. We traveled for two weeks in Italy and stayed in awesome luxury hotels. This was the only hotel that did not provide ongoing complimentary bottled water, traditional facial tissue, and had...

We have stayed here before and it was just as lovely this time. Great location on via v. veneto, just a 5-10 minute walk to many of the monuments and the shopping area. From the moment you arrive, you feel like a pampered guest. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The sound proofed rooms are classically decorated and quite...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hotel Majestic Roma embraces its neoclassical heritage by reinventing it for the 21st century and offering guests the chance to step into a one of the city's most glamorous residences. The hotel is an original combination of styles, a study in careful contradictions that juxtaposes white lacquered pieces of furniture, rich textures and the extraordinary use of color to evoke an emotional response from all who visit. Rooms and suites show a gentle use of simple lines and almost imperceptible curves, creating a perfect blend of innovative setup style combined with classic elegance. The hotel Majestic Roma is located directly on Via Veneto, few steps from Villa Borghese, the second largest landscape garden in the naturalistic English manner in Rome. Walking distance to Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and city's finest boutiques. Convenient to enjoy museums, theatre, nightlife, restaurants and to reach the financial center. ... more   less
