The hotel is nice and in a great location by the park. We had the misfortune of having jewelry stolen from the room while we were out sight seeing. It was unfortunate that we did not secure a valuable bracelet in the room safe, we were only gone a few minutes. It happened while the staff was cleaning the room....

I was lucky enough to go to Rome for my birthday and booked with this hotel to use the spa for a day .the charge was 45 euros per person plus a deposit f 10 euros for the robe and towel or so I thought . We were sent to the changing rooms and not given a tour as I...

I was lucky enough to stay here to attend a work function. The neighbourhood is very quiet and it was a 10 minute walk to restaurants and shops. The hotel itself is very nice; the room was spacious and our balcony overlooked the zoo and there was little road noise which was good because the room was so hot that...

This hotel is mainly used by Italians who really love the place as do I. I have stayed there several times and it so fabulous for many reasons. It is next to Villa Borghese in a quiet neighborhood that is lovely. It is more of a luxurious home than a hotel. The staff is superb and it has an insanely...

First, let me say that I have NEVER stayed in a place that had better wireless Internet. This location was outstanding. Located right beside Borghesi Park and Zoo and all it had to offer, with several Consulates close by. Personal attention to service and detail was exceptional. Friendly staff and lovely furnishings, everything was right. I really can't say anymore....

I recently visited the Hotel Parco di Principi and Spa and was very impressed with the friendliness and efficiency of all the staff I met. I'm a bit of a spa fan and have to say that the Prince spa was amazing and the perfect place to unwind after a day's work. The gym was extremely spacious and well equipped...

I stayed here for several days in January 2013. This hotel is a bit of an odd mix. First, the positives: The front desk staff were efficient and competent. My room was on the spacious side for a European hotel, with a relatively large bathroom as well. The bed was reasonably comfortable. It was generally quiet---in fact, this is the...

I had to stay here for work and I was a little put off by the reviews that were quite critical but I must admit that neither the price nor the service was as bad as it is portrayed. Either that, or I got lucky. Check-in was quick and efficient. There were some rude customers who tried to push in...

The staff at the reservation desk don't seem to be able to do much of anything right, starting from confirming a reservation and booking an airport transfer. Good luck trying to get a speedy confirmation by email. The rooms are large, but fairly old. The fake magnificence doesn't don't it for me. Look elsewhere.

I did not use the spa or other leisure facilities, which probably means this hotel was the wrong choice for me. But they failed to get the basics right. They had overbooked and had to transfer me to a different hotel for the first night. The practicalities around this were not very smooth. The air-conditioning controls in my room were...

Staying in Parioli

Neighbourhood Profile
Parioli
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavour of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
