The Parco die Principi Grand Hotel is a beautiful hotel with one of the best possible locations in Rome, right next to the amazing Villa Borghese park. The view from our room, over the tree tops of the park all the way to the dome of The Sixtine Chapel is marvelous, and the spa is ok, although more of a...

I ve been at the Grand Hotel Parco de'Principi for a business trip. While the hotel itself still can be placed in the high end, i could not say the same about its quality of service. People at the door are barely decent, while the reception is managed by a group of experienced but just mid standing professionals. The way...

We stayed here November 2012 with our two boys. It was walking distance to a stunning park and zoo where you can hire a fun cycle or a golf buggy to travel around. Weather was still so warm in Nov, kids loved the hotel's inner court with spiral stairs, fountain and old stone walls. Hotel's spa looked so new and...

I spent three nights at this hotel in April. It's a beautiful in a traditional Roman decor sort of way. The room was comfortable, although I found the bed rather hard. Despite the traffic on the adjacent street the room was very quiet when the balcony door was closed. The service was rather aloof - the concierges were helpful at...

We got a lot of the good things we expected - the location is great right next to the large Villa Borghese park, it's in quiet surroundings, the rooms were relatively big, the indoor pool area (outdoor pool not yet opened for the season) was impressive, the breakfast was generous. But there are way too many negatives to truly make...

The hotel is located in the heart of Roma , very near to all the most attractive historical sites and the shopping areas. The structure very elegant and charming is inside the villa borghese park and very near to the zoo (children will love this) standard rooms are nice and clean (not spacious thoug). The pools are fantastic and the...

I've stayed in Parco dei Principi several times both on work and on holidays. I must say the hotel has kept its high standards during all these years. Its location is close to Villa Borghese (one of the nicest places in Rome, famous for both its gardens and the art gallery). This means you'll have to take a bus or...

I went to this hotel with my husband and 2 kids and it was stunning. We were able to get a special rate and our room was unbelievable. The location was perfect as it was far enough from the city center for it a good sleep, yet close enough to all the main attractions. The most stunning part of the...

I was surprised that a hotel of this quality did not offer free wifi. They wanted 9 euro a day which I thought was exorbitant, but so was everything. You really need wifi to do things like booking trips to the Sistine Chapel. I had 1 small bottle of tonic from the minbar and they charged 8.50 euro; I thought...

This was my first trip to Europe and this Hotel was just amazing. Our room had a balcony and overlooked the gorgeous swimming pool. The bathroom, plenty of room to move and the beds very comfortable. The staff were friendly and always ready to lend a helping hand. One of the waiters in the dinning room "Fabio" was the most...

Staying in Parioli

Neighbourhood Profile
Parioli
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavour of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
